I'm an avid raider. I have no desire to run King's Fall anymore
It is time consuming and/or frustrating unless you have a team of six experienced players.
The weapons are God awful.
The armor is ugly and the perks aren't useful.
King's Fall challenge week just comes and goes for me.
Edit - So you don't have to check, I have 70+ KF completions.

The only reason I still run it is because of the last Harrowed arms I need for the shader. Golgaroth is pretty much a breeze even on the challenge, but god forbid if I get another weapon or useless engram instead of those arms.

1 ReplyKings Fall is an example of things just naturally not working at all. Mechanic heavy encounters don't fit in a high-mobility shooter like Destiny, and hopefully they will never happen again in D2.

KF is by far my favorite raid. WoTM comes after that.

If the raid was totems>Warpriest>Golgoroth>Oryx it would be better. open the portal>jumping puzzle>totems>warpriest>maze>Golgoroth>hive dong slams>daughters>Oryx was just too much for the rewards. I got my 4 adepts and was done with it.

Eh, I still run it cause I need the Titan helm to complete my set. Apart from that the only raid I really bother doing is Crota's End and even then it's only one run a week on my Warlock in the hopes of getting the boots and the helmet.

3 RepliesForget the raids I have or can find a reason to play any destiny. If they don't separate pvp and pve I'm going to have a hard time justifing the destiny 2 grind. NERFING what I grinded my ass off for just doesn't work for me.

2 RepliesI love raiding and I'm a pretty avid pve player in general, but kf frustrates me to no end. Nobody seems to understand how to do it. Every other raid is usually fine, but in kf, everyone has to pull their oen weight and doesn't seem to understand that.

The fact that it's the only raid that still has RNG perks for its guns is even worse, they should have brought its weapons back with the best set perks available. Like the pulse rifle having firefly.

I can't believe how bad people still are at it. It's a fantastic and fun raid. Probably the best one tbh but people hate it just because they're bad. I spent a whole damn hour just one warpriest challenge last night... I was in disbelief after a year and a half people still couldn't survive a couple rounds of that... every time we were down to like 3 or 4 on a third damage phase and praying it didn't go to someone who already got it. One time I almost managed to clutch as last man alive but with all adds plus warpriest shooting me I couldn't even aim at the bitch. Also people still didn't even know how to call the sides if I needed to step on instead of call them they were like "how do you tell the order?

Never have nor plan on doing that raid. I stopped raiding after Crota. Took a Loooooong break from Destiny all together but have been having fun playing VoG ( best raid IMO ) and Crota over again.
