i just realized what this game reveal for destiny 2 equals...... Activision Will get the stock shares from bungie and own bungie. Destiny 2 is a fuqing DLC at best. No dedicated servers and gun and gameplay look worse and slower then D1. Destiny 1 should never have been seperate from Destiny 2. Bungie at this point has shot both feet off and deserve the failuer they have brought on themselves. This game reveal cements the fact that bungie ignored the fans and all feedback from destiny 1.

So Bungies answer to the shambles that is Destiny PVP is to limit fireteams to 4? Destiny 1.5 should have dedicated servers! The amount of Scrooge McDuck money the company made from D1 should ensure a perfect D1.5.

I didn't see anything in this reveal that looks so groundbreaking that it couldn't be in Destiny 1. 4vs4 PvP is a downgrade Bungie. No dedicated servers. Still 30 FPS (except on PC). Might as well have just given console players a big middle finger. Game Guides looks interesting, but really all I want is matchmaking, like every other game. Will have to wait and see on that one. Strikes still limited to 3 players. Patrol still limited to 3 players, although it APPEARS there'll be more to do while patrolling at least. New planets to explore is great, BUT, are these new planets in addition to the planets we already have? Because if you just removed 3 locations and then added 3 other locations, that's not more content. That's slightly altered content. Enemies look largely unchanged from what I can see, other than new character models. Bosses too, from what I can see. Will have to see if the actual encounters are any different, but they LOOK the same so far. Same 3 classes is a letdown. New abilities within those classes is good, but nothing completely brand new was underwhelming. I like the idea of meeting and interacting with NPCs while out on patrol, but is this something that we'll see across the entire game, or just in that one spot on Earth where we establish our new hub area? Is Grimoire in-game or still only on Bungie's website? Not having to go to orbit for each activity is nice and all, but it's not an 'OMG buy Destiny 2 because of this' type of change. It's a nice little quality of life change and that's all. In-game clan system, again, nice quality of life change. But still not anything revolutionary. Games have had in-game clan support for years and Bungie deserves credit for just now catching up? All in all, it was an OK event. I'm not too excited, not running out to pre-order, but I'll keep following the game and see how things go. If I had to give my thoughts, it looks more or less like a big expansion to Destiny 1, rather than a true sequel.

On top of the numerous reskins that were shown. They couldn't come up with new sword animations for a NEW subclass? Or a new Arc subclass for the Hunter, and was that Captain America I spotted? Don't get me started on the Dubious Volley........ They even took out the "beloved" ship loading screens, in favor of instant fast travel. Why have space ships in a sci-fi world?? You were supposed to give us a new experience from the ground up, not polish the old one, and call it new. I watched, and turned away dissatisfied, and disappointed. We should ALL be used to it by now. Keep chugging along in your hype trains people.... Edit: To be honest, I'm normally a very postive, and optimistic person. I'm not sitting here saying that it'll be a terrible game. I'm simply trying remind everyone to remain vigilant. We've been fooled more than once...

Jesus, I thought you'd guys at least make the reveal hype worthy, even if it doesn't live up to anything, but you didn't even do that right.
