2013-2016 sony is just shoving numbers down our throats about how well the ps4 sells.
2017 sony just says the ps4 pro and psvr are meeting expectations.
The pro and psvr are failing at quite a remarkable rate.

I'm in no rush to get a 4K tv, pro and scorpio will be looked into when the time comes. Until then I'll keep playing my PS4, the same way I played my og 60G PS3 until PS4 came out
-
I came here to do one thing
-blam!- em all to death!!!
1 ReplyI been wanted to upgrade to a new Tv regardless so i got the best samsung 4k one that i could find, HDR10, series 8500. I been had a ps4 for the longest. One day i just bought a pro i mean why not and man the difference between my regular tv and ps4 and the Pro and my current TV is nuts. But yes the TV makes a HUGE difference, not just having a Pro
-
8 RepliesSee you in a year with the same post about microsoft the scorpio .
oh no you won't do that ,cause you are a biased little wanker
-
9 RepliesProbably because there really isn't a reason for them. I'd expect scorpion to be in the same boat.
-
2 RepliesI just want, hard-light, table top 3d models, controlled by my controller. Like the chess game in the first Star Wars movie.
-
Well I mean... it's not a new console. Some people can't shell out money for a new console and TV to support the graphics.
-
1 ReplyI think everyone focuses too much on what's selling better between the PS4 and yet to be released Xbox Scorpio. While I intend to buy the Scorpio it's more for my own personal means. I don't measure it as any sort of success over the PS4 pro though. I still have a PS4 regardless and all 4 consoles are going to play the same games from their respective lineups. I don't look at this as any sort of failure on Sonys part just a difference in requirements for my own needs at the present. I like what both have to offer as a gamer. Leave the sales arguments and tropes to the bean counters and enjoy what you have.
-
An Xbox fanboy says the PS4 pro isn't selling well, ina n attempt to rustle some jimmies, regardless of the Xbox One's mediocrity and the PS4's success? SHOCKING
-
Well considering everyone and their sister already bought the PS4, there aren't really that many people who are left to buy the Pro. The upgrade isn't worth it without a 4KTV, and most people don't have one yet. As for VR...well that was a shit show from the beginning.
-
2 Repliesonly reason I have a pro is because I got it for cheap. Like 40 bucks cheap. Trade in value skyrocketed a few months ago with standard ps4. That being said, unless you have a 4k tv, pro is pretty pointless. There's no reason to buy a pro if you already have ps4.
-
Lmao console peasants.
-
...who cares about either? I only knew one person that was even remotely hyped about PSVR and that was because he won it in the Taco Bell contest lol. As for the Pro most people don't have 4K TVs so there's no reason to buy one. Not surprised
-
If I upgrade my tv and see a cheap used one or something I'd probably get it and give my ps4 to a friend, but there's very little reason for the vast majority of gamers to get it. Sony should've focused on something else like better network security or better ps plus deals
-
Not surprising. Most console gamers don't own a 4K tv. The Scorpio will probably do the same. Most games probably won't be optimized for the 4K 60fps so it's not really worth the upgrade.
-
Well done
-
https://youtu.be/8QEoi3xKm1I Your Xbox God himself praised psvr lmao
-
9 RepliesProbably because no one cares about VR or the pro. Why would anyone who already has a PS4 buy a pro?
-
2 RepliesIt's likely the Scorpio will out sell the Pro on a month by month chart because of the significant power & it's enhanced blue drive But neither the Pro, The VR or the Scorpio will ever reach the numbers of the XB1 or PS4. They are more accessible to general public and will always be cheaper. Also while I'm sure the Scorpio will close the gap it has with devs atm, I don't believe it will close units sold gap with Sony

Edited by STYLIN33: 4/20/2017 9:23:54 PMI love my Pro, my original PS4 was ageing as I bought it on release and put many hrs into her. I bought simply as a replacement . Shortly after though I bought a 4k tv and that package blew my mind. I love how sharp, crisp and bright everything is . Even if it's just looks this gen I'm happy with that. The 4k tv watching fox in Hd is freakn awesome .

3 RepliesI hate the whole VR thing that has suddenly been the latest great thing for consoles. I don't understand why VR is so great.
-
27 RepliesEdited by Babayaga1016123: 4/20/2017 4:05:30 PMPs4 brand has hit 60 mil sales. Xbox brand might have hit 30 mil 😂😂😂 Psvr 1.5 mil sales(paving the way to better vr) also sold more than rift and vive Xbox vr..... 😂😂😂 Last i checked xbox sales are so bad they try to hide them which is laughable 🤣🤣🤣
Seriously your trolls for attention just get dumber and dumber lol
And I'm guessing you don't have proof of any numbers? But will most likely ask somebody else to show you proof of numbers lol Still no proof of numbers from op lmao

Ps4 is such shit
-
6 RepliesEdited by Inflicte: 4/20/2017 1:48:59 PMProbabl because hardly anyone actually gives a -blam!- about the pro or the scorpio.
-
5 RepliesWell, yeah, a few million is meeting expectations. Most people have no use for a 4k console. What point are you trying to make?
-
No one is surprised about PSVR. It's just a gimmic at this point. It'll be a few years, maybe even a few console generations before VR is a thing. As for the Pro, I didn't even realize it had been released. I don't think it's being marketed heavily. It was probably a last minute push out to compete with whatever the Xbox just came out with. Why does PS4 pro or PSVR need to do well? The PS4 isn't having any problems. There's no need for anything else at the moment. The mid generation console cycle is just to maintain relevance anyway. It's not that important.
