SPECIAL AMMO
So I know this topic is beating a dead horse but I just hope Bungie can at least avoid mistakes like this for Destiny 2 since we know they won't be working on this game anymore.
The way special ammo works right now is terrible.
I mainly feel this way not because sidearms are overused now, but simply because I don't feel like I get to enjoy my exotic special weapons anymore in crucible.
I finally decided to grind PoE to get my Queenbreakers bow back and it's just not fun to use anymore.
Not because the gun is different in any way, but it feel like a chore trying to get special ammo, and of coarse when you finally do someone comes up to you with their super or something.

4 Replies"The way special ammo works right now is" ...... GREAT I picked up the shotgun bounty from the quartermaster. The matches it took to complete this bounty wasn't due to lack of special ammo but rather the need to "get good". Perhaps you need to "get good" with a primary. Have fun and may RNG be forever in your favor.

5 RepliesI FINALLY got a god roll matador and longbow together right after the last patch too. I don't even use them because I don't have special for too long. And when I grabbed special it only gave me 3 bullets. Wtf!

People learned they can use other specials again finally. Shotguns could do with a buff but I have no problem using things. Sniped most of iron banner and fusions before that. Only took a few matches to finish the bounty

I think Bungie sandbox needs to be removed from this game so they don't screw up D2 any more then it is.

Get a good primary and second a fusion rifle just in case its like the original halo games...

1 ReplyDying with 3 special rounds should give one on spawn. Six gives two on spawn. Then fusions and snipers are still used but not abused
