The Age of Triumph quest was great untill....
I was forced to play crucible...
Am I the only one who hates quests that make you play PvP? I hope destiny 2 doesn't do that.
Edit: I had completed the quest before I made the post. It wasn't that bad once I had friends with me. Still, those shaxx bounties suck. They take forever. I'd rather do a raid that takes 3 hours to complete.

I'm on the Crucible part, and this shit is -blam!-ing terrible. Way to cater to the crybabies and ruin your game, Bungie. I can't kill anyone. Even when I shoot them first. Primaries might as well be pellet guns. Obviously, I won't be doing the quest on my other two characters. Crucible used to be fast paced fun. Now it's unplayable.

Its not the pvp part that makes me reluctant to play it, it's the fact that you only get a class item and a weapon ornament after completing an 11 step quest. Honestly, i'd get a greater sense of completion from finishing the book... even if it is just for an emblem.

I just finished it. Wasn't really worth the effort. It's a nice Titan mark. But not worth all I had to do.

I'd rather do pvp than challenge of the elders to be honest. I don't like the rotating crucible playlists though. But this thing we call Destiny is bigger than just me...

Not sure why you would bother doing something you dislike for pointless rewards?!? Tried getting back into it yesterday after 6 months but it's still the same boring grind. It's BS that for the record book, you have to redo a lot of the stuff just in an attempt to keep you grinding anyway. Poor excuse for "content".

I was lucky to have had an a control bounty from a few months ago. All I had was 9 advantage kills. Now working on supremacy. My problem is matchmaking. I played 4 matches today. Lost all and was top score on my team twice. Other two were blowouts. Still only 1 win in triumph book.

2 RepliesI'm only doing the quest as a "just in case." I have a feeling it may end up being the kickstarter for the Mythoclast quest. I'm most likely wrong and I just wasted hours getting a class item instead of raiding and finishing up the book. But you never know.

I hate it when a quest forces me to play pvp, playing it without overpowered pvp optimal weapons and subclass setup isn't fun, it's just imbalanced and terrible.

2 RepliesI totally agree. But they can keep everyone happy by making quest steps pve or pvp to advance. It's quite simple and not force a player into an activity they don't like.
