Sidearms are getting boring it's all about FUN
I can't say it's just me but this whole meta is getting boring more and more players are doing other games as I feel this has taken some spunk out of Destiny. Yes I still play but I'm playing WAY less and so are most of my friends never forget this is a VIDEO GAME aimed at FUN first Bungie Fools. Fun First!!! Too much of anything in a game spoils it

10 RepliesLet me ask a question. Special spawns every 60 seconds. What stops you from picking up ammo on your way back onto the fray? Its not like snipers, shotguns and fusion rifles were removed. Just pick up the damn ammo. Cant tell you how many matches I have played that some guy runs right past the ammo crate. Dies then bitches about sidearms. Example I use a fusion all the time. Still managed a 5 or 6 kill streak. I see absolutely no problem, other than lazy players.

Nah, I'm still having fun with sidearms. Before the patch, I rarely used one.

You know what else isn't fun? Losing all your special ammo on death.

Edited by RAIST5150: 3/12/2017 5:34:44 PMmeh... been equipping sidearms almost the entire time I've been in PvP, but I have always primarily used my Primary Weapons (special and heavy [i]combined [/i] have consistently made up less than 20% of all kills). I stopped playing heavily long before this patch came out. Wasn't because of the special ammo nerf. There just really isn't much incentive for me to play regularly. I have basically just been checking in just for weekly bounties for a while now, and for the most part I get them knocked out in one day. The game in general has just become too lack-luster, and the closer you get to having everything in your vault to max light levels, the less compelled you can be to log in daily.

Reasons I don't play 1. The game is old. Doesn't matter how they change it up it's baseline stale. 2. No vault space. No point in collecting now 3. No convenient matchmaking. Why I don't do nightfall. 4. Other better games like witcher 3 to play. The patch itself I actually enjoy. Will even more when all special are in line but doesn't fix the problems above

Yep, I agree. I used to spend hours a day playing Destiny and loved it, now I can't play for more than a half hour before I want to snap the disc.

3 RepliesI just feel bad for other pre-patch sidearm players like myself. We're all being lumped in the same geoup as those who just conform to the meta. There's some of us who have used the vendor [i]Wormwood[/i] and [i]Trespasser[/i] for months before the patch rolled out.

3 RepliesThis meta is toxic, literally 95% of the players run sidearms, like when will bungie learn that they should balance the game like year 1 when primaries were actually good and fun to use.

Sidearms have ALWAYS been boring, that's exactly why they did this because no one used them.
