To whoever used the golden gun in the Age of Triumph trailer...
You're an idiot. Golden gun doesn't gain a damage buff with Times Vengeance, everyone who has played VoG should know this

5 RepliesIt doesn't gain a damage buff however Times Vengeance is a manipulation of time so recharges supers incredibly quickly. You can spam GG if you wanted.

22 RepliesYou need refresher course? There are two reasons to use Golden gun in that encounter. 1. Then again if you knew anything about Vault of Glass in the past, Hunters only had 2 sub-classes. Hunters didn't have Nightstalker when Vault of Glass came out, so hence the only option was Gunslinger/Golden Gun. As that allowed you to shoot down oracles and Harpies faster. Blade Dancer was terrible for final boss. I always ran Goldie. That is the argument for past Vault of Glass. Now hear by argument for current VOG. 2. Meet the Celestial Nighthawk. If you ever used that you would know it is a boss killer. If Vault of Glass comes out today, I would surely try to run that Exotic helm to get most out of my Golden gun ability. Combined with other bonuses like Tether and Weapons of Light, it would do a lot of damage indeed.

Or that person could be one of those that knows your super charges mega fast in there and uses it. Maybe they aren't one of those idiots that just sits on the center platform only using primaries/secondaries. Or maybe Atheon was one-shot and they are going Hero Mode. Or any other number of reasons why someone would pop a Super in the game during a raid. Nah dude, OP thinks they're an idiot so that is that.

4 RepliesGolden gun = 4 dead oracles one shot a piece. Praetorian...dead, stupid supplicants...dead. Back in year one you had no other option in pve. I in no way main a hunter, but golden gun was way more useful in vog than you give credit for.
