If the Next Patch Only Nerfs Sidearm Ammo..
That would be ridiculous.
Having no special on death/respawn destroys this game for me.
Spare me the "use your primary" speech. I'll use my primary when it's viable. I don't want to keep pot shotting people with primaries, using Icebreaker, using wormwood...no. I want to kill people with any gun in the game that I choose to use.
I used to do pve activities to get guns to use in pvp. They were mostly special, with the occasional good primary. Now I have little reason to replay the same content for a reward I'll never be able to use in crucible.
I'm not going to spawn in and camp a special box, hope that my teammates haven't already pulled it, go running around for special when there's an enemy who just pulled shotgun ammo or has a wormwood...no. ESPECIALLY not on these maps. And I'm certainly not going to use anything other than an Icebreaker in trials, because everyone else will be using one and I'm at a disadvantage with no special on spawn...
If this next patch only changed Sidearm ammo...I'm done with pvp in Destiny as we know it. Spare me the "good get off the forums" speech. I've heard it all and I don't care.
Oh yeah, and fix blink radar ffs. Wtf is this anyway.

I agree, I want to use my rocket launcher all the time, cause I should be allowed to use any gun I want.

I just wish people would stop playing this shitty game if they dislike what Bungie has done with it. It's the only way to show Bungie through numbers that the fan base is unsatisfied with the changes.

So....I have used a shotgun exclusively . its not bad. Respawn...grab special...every time its available .

PvP is -blam!-ing horrific atm... played half a game of sidearm banner the other day after an extended break... went straight back to BF1.

2 RepliesOk, the issue isn't special ammo economy it players who utilize special weapons like they're a primary. Kyllap with 16% of your kills in crucible consist of a shotgun and 13% for melee and super kills, i do have snipers up in the list, but I also have primaries, the issue isn't the special ammo it the players that don't expand from what they are good with or they relied on special ammo too much. The issue with the overuse of sidearms and icebreaker is because of that need people have to a secondary weapon instead of the power weapons specials should be. The idea is that the players fight for "power weapons" to earn kills, and then the heavy spawns for the more powerful "power weapons" and after everything is over it's back to primaries. There isn't a need to fix the special ammo changes, with sidearms getting fixed and icebreaker slowly going to lose its place in the meta the game will run well. -The only special change that would be viable would be after every death special is cut in half and if it is 1 or under u have none and have to go get some for this thought special boxes would need to be backup to 1:30 or 90 seconds.

4 RepliesDang. Lots of replies. Well. Destiny is kinda dead anyway and we will have some pve stuff to do coming up. With Horizon and Mass Effect I'll have little use for a 3 year old annoyance which used to be really fun.
