Bungie, allow cosmetic items to go over to D2! We have worked alot of hours for emblems, ships and shader collections. Hell, we even PAID for some of them on BungieStore! Let us take across those memories of D1 at least so we can show what we have done over THREE YEARS!

I'll return for the Age of Triumphs or whatever and then stop until Destiny 2. Honestly will only buy this if my clan mates feel up to dealing with Bungie again. If not we have other games we enjoy. Here's to Destiny 2 HOPEFULLY gaining the fans back.
I think Deej and Cosmo should be replaced.
2 RepliesEdited by SoAnnoying: 3/4/2017 7:41:52 PMIt's amazing, but not surprising how hard the fan-boys are trying to give Bungie a way out on misleading everyone. They are now parsing words and trying to redefine what Bungie meant by "your progress will 100 percent carry over to the sequel"* But, actions speak louder that words.... So, lets set aside the press quotes and focus on what's happening right now. There are at least four threads and over a thousand posts and walls of text in this forum alone about what should 'carry over' into Destiny 2. So, clearly this expectation was not some kind of fabrication. It started some where and was allowed to continue. So, why then did Bungie find it necessary 'only' yesterday to tell us that "...will not carry forward"*...? They could have clarified any previous statements and corrected any misunderstandings years ago. But, they didn't.... Because, just like "No Man's Sky", Bungie wanted and needed people to buy DLCs. And, they used ambiguities and exploited false expectations to make that happen. Therefore, if we can't trust what they said and did in the past, why should we give them any more money in the future.... *[ www.polygon.com/2014/12/9/7359839/destiny-sequel-grinding-gear ] *[ www.forbes.com/sites/insertcoin/2017/03/03/destiny-2-wont-let-you-bring-anything-with-you-except-your-ugly-characters/#5f6ad234288d ]

I for one dont want any of the D1 stuff. D2 i am looking forward to getting new stuff
-
Yes. The weapons and armor can stay behind but let us bring our sparrows ships and emblems with us
-
I don't mind it
-
If you considered it a lot of "work" ... you are playing games all wrong lol
-
Kinda sad Bungie is cheap, to be honest might not get Destiny 2

You'll Never Ever Get Ya Emblems Backk You'll Never Ever Get Ya Emblems Backk You'll Never Ever Get Ya Emblems Backk You'll Never Ever Get Ya Emblems Backk You'll Never Ever Get Ya Emblems Backk

"We also plan to award those veteran accounts with honors that reflect your Destiny 1 accomplishments." While we might not get to keep our cosmetics, we will be recognized for our achievements in the first game in some way. That's as much as can be expected from a sequel.

While I understand people want it to come over to Destiny two, I'd rather have a fresh start. Once Iron Banner is over I'll stop playing since I don't care much for playing this game much anymore. I'll probably get on every now and then though

2 RepliesNope, new game. I don't want any of it. I want new stuff.

1 ReplyHow about, BUNGIE please let us customize our emblems and shaders in Destiny 2 so I don't have to wait 3 years for an all black shader or grind the living hell out of a faction to get something close to all black. I mean what's up with you people that want to be sold old content back to you over and over. Why not ask for dynamic emblems or dynamic shaders which are fully customizable. Get creative...

2 RepliesEdited by Dooodley: 3/5/2017 10:41:38 PMEmblems (assuming D2 will even utilize a similar system)! Don't care about the rest.
-
So we can look exactly the same after 3 years. -blam!- off man, give me some new shit
-
2 RepliesIf they can carry our silly haircuts over, why not cosmetics
-
Ships, emblems, and shaders are being completly revamped, and redone from the ground up. So...no.

BLUE SKULL MASK!

What if those items aren't utilized in D2 like they are in D1? They'd be as useless as your celery in your vault.
-
2 RepliesIt will all come with us. Eververse 2.0 will have a "Good Ole Days Package" it will cost 10,000 silver dust 2.0, and reward you with 1 item from your Destiny 1 vault. It will "randomly" be selected (this includes ether seeds, black wax, etc...). There is also no guarantee that you will not get duplicates. That being said, we must keep grinding(and saving our pennies)!
Don't get me wrong... I agree with you 100 percent, but I couldn't resist...
2 RepliesEdited by Dezzie19: 3/4/2017 4:06:41 PMNo re-buy everything. Yours sincerely Activision.

11 RepliesIt's a new game NOT a dlc. Bungle have said that not transfering your gaurdian, emblems, weapons etc gives them room to implement new tech into the game. Do I you want new or stay with the old? Your old items won't work with the new engine etc. It's like trying to play a ps2 game on a ps4 it doesn't work. New game new everything.

1 ReplyDiablo 1 to 2 no one cared when it was a fresh restart. Destiny 1 to 2, many people want their stuff to carry over. They probably did this cause it's a SEQUEL and that the story will probably tie in with it. In the meantime stop acting like an entitled bitch it's a game.
