All I Want is my Emblems in D2
After reading today's post by bungie I have to say I'm a bit disappointed in the news. Most not all guardians don't really care what their characters look like at this point but most if not all would have loved to see their favorite and/or exclusive emblems and shaders get carried over. This news today made me feel that after 2+ years of grinding was for nothing. Love the game just wish they would revisit that idea down the road.

The appearance of your guardian??? That f.u.c.k??!! They don't listen to shit we want. That's the one thing I know soo many ppl would like the ability to change you idiots! Yet y'all think it's a good idea for it to be the only thing that carries over -_- News flash Bungie buttholes, the only thing that makes a difference in the way a guardians looks is the armor sets! Why not let us carry forward one set of our choosing with shader. I didn't even mention how grossly in depth your "create a guardian" was to begin with -_-. You act as if you gave us tons of unique options that we spent hours over adjusting to get that special stand out look... The opening scene of Ghost finding your dead body for the first time literally takes longer then picking your guardian's race,gender, hair, skin, eye color. It's a slap in the face that you guys believe carrying over those lame ass guardian traits would be exciting for any of us... [spoiler]Forgot you get to pick your face marking!! Absolutely lame guys[/spoiler]

3 RepliesWhy are people so caught up with emblems? They weren't really ever talked about before. Prior to Bungie communicating.. no one gave a damn about emblems. "Hey, look at my emblem I got for streaming for 77hrs, while AFK on a stream!" "Hey, look at my emblem, I represent __________ faction!" "Hey, look at my emblem, I completed year one Moments of Triumph!" "Hey, look at my emblem, I completed class-related stuff in PVP!" "Hey, look at my emblem, I completed _______ raid on hard mode!" I understand they're achievements. I understand you "want something for all the time you've invested into this game." But what's most important? The memories and countless hours of entertainment I got out of the game. "But, but, it's an emblem! To show for it!" Who the HELL cares? Most of us have been through the ups and the downs with this game. Hold onto those memories. Not some stupid emblem. Make the game better with stuff that matters.. not cosmetic nonsense..

Totally agree, since there's only 348 of the winding path emblems. It would really be a shame if I couldent keep an emblem that's tied to my bungie account, not just destiny 1.

Also, how funny will it be if the only way to get promised acknowledgment for being an OG is to commit yourself to the same looking character for a whole new game. No choice. Nowhere did they mention emblems or shaders. I want the emblems to be carried over myself, but this morning they did not mention them at all so this is pure speculation at this point.
