Are Halo players better than Destiny Players?
Watch the video and is it true on what he says? It is valid that he does prove some points in the video.
Also guy has 23 hours.

Halo players are better because destiny players rely on their god rolls and meta weapons instead of actual skill.

Destiny pvp players depend more on their weapons (exotics, rolls, etc.) To survive while Halo players depend on good ol skill and play on a more level playing field at least in arena not that Warzone bullshit

5 RepliesAnyone at the top end of the skill gap in the halo would be good at Destiny. Because the skill set at that level can generally translate into other shooters. Wouldn't necessarily work the other way around, though

It depends on the game they would go head to head in. Halo and destiny don't have that many similarities other than being a shooter, made by bungie and grenades being a huge thing. Halo rewards people for good grenade placement and precision hip firing whereas destiny rewards people for grenade placement and ADSing. I think a better representation would be comparing destiny players to CoD players with the fast gameplay.

You're put on even terms with your teammate. No OP abilities or insta-grenades, no 1-shotting powers. Sure, if you pick up a sniper you can nab kills till the mag is empty, but it's a lot harder since the actual gameplay is a lot slower-paced than Destiny. Non-base loadout weapons are entirely situational. When you look back through fps games, and other game genres in general, you start to realize that today's games have become much easier to play and don't require as much skill as their predecessors.

9 RepliesSniping in halo is a joke. It's so easy compared to destiny. But you can't really compare the 2. Halo is a washed up fps that started it all. Destiny is a game that wants to be great but can't because of balancing issues.

1 ReplyWhen i first started crucible in the beta i killed alot more people compared to being killed. Past experience with the halo trilogy at the time helped.
