Research, dude. The reading I've done on this topic to reach my own conclusion as to its veracity combined with my knowledge of how a bunisess operates leads to the above facts.
For example, if u were publishing in a newspaper, they would ask you to list yr SOURCEs. So where are your sources?
What you've said below.. have u read the BUNGiE / Activision Publishing Contract (not the one posted online 3 years ago)? Be very surprised if u have!
Fact:
Pre-order sales revenue does not go to the publisher until well after release. In fact, they're the second to last one to see that money!
Hope this assist u moving fwd.. otherwise try re-writing the US Consititution

Again, when every game I've searched such as CoD games, Overwatch, Destiny, ESO, and GTA all fall within a certain range a pattern emerges. 2. Common Sense is a good source as well. Ask yourself some basic questions such as "what does cheating customers gain a business in the long?" "How long and complicated is the process of creating a AAA game in today's market? Therefore, how what is the difficulty in removing chunks of content so close to release?" "What does a business stand to lose if shady dealings are discovered? How would it affect future sales not only for this title, but the next, if there is one?" Dafuq does the Constitution have to do with any of this? 2. After dealing directly with Vendors/Suppliers/Distributors to manage inventory for the last several years at my current job, I think I have pretty good handle on how the supply chain works. Would you like a resume or does personal experience not count as a "source?" 3. I have actually read parts of the Bungie vision contract released through court documents via the Marty O'Donnell case. But you don't need to read it as something like that isn't going to lay out a payment schedule throughout the supply chain. But that iteration does mention payment bonuses if Destiny reaches certain sales milestones, awards, and meets deadlines. And if you want an interesting read check this article out.
