So before reading this, please visit my previous post months ago and yes I did play the during the dawning, sue me. Link here: https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/217534458?showBanned=0&path=0
Now lets get back to the post itself, I warned the community once and they were dumb enough to ignore it, with the kotaku article bringing up the problems of pre-ordering, even Boogie2988, Angry Joe, and so many more famous credible people, we need to remember, pre-ordering destroys games entirely. How so? Well, let me give you a list.
CoD: Advanced Warfare
CoD: BO3
CoD: Ghosts
CoD: Infinite Warfare
Titanfall (Was supposed to have a story)
Overwatch (Was supposed to be an MMO)
Recore (So many things went wrong with it)
and the list could go on and on and on...
But are you noticing something? No? Please go look at the trailers before it was released and the severe backlash of the final products reviews. The conclusion here is that preordering renders the product into a lump of clay, a very small one at that. Preordering the game locks you in on the product they intend to sell, and what they show you isn't the final product, like so!

Seeing it? Do I need to find more? No? Okay then! When the company knows they've sold millions of copies before they even print the discs they can cut out soooooo much of the game and just give it to you. And that's what happened to Destiny, Recore, Overwatch, -blam!-ING RECORE, No mans sky for christ sakes!
They know they can keep bending you over the rails because a lot of you don't have self control, so my second warning is this. DON'T PREORDER THE GAME! Let bungie print the discs and preorder a week before it releases, save the game, its future and your embarrassing burden of knowing you cause problems for the industry. Thank you!

Don't forget Hello Kitty Island Adventure. EVERYONE pre ordered and look what happened.... what a shame.

4 RepliesScreaming at the wind will not stop it from blowing.
-
2 RepliesI am going to pre-order two copies just because of this.
-
Okay. I'm going to preorder it. You convinced me. Thanks.
-
2 RepliesI'm gonna pre-order two copies just to nullify your choices
-
Too late
-
1 ReplyOverwatch??? Game of the year??? How does that not deserve a pre-order?
-
Where can I pre-order Destiny ll ? I thought there would be a link or something near the end . Instead this is some BS some dîckhead sucked out of someone else's dîckhole about not ordering......😒
-
............................................................ WAFELS!... wait what am i reading?
-
Last time I checked Overwatch was doing just fine. Best game of 2016 even with all those pre-orders.
-
Speaking of a total bend-over refer to the list of CoD games mentioned above :)

No matter if I tell myself this a million times, it won't work. I preorder everything, albums, video-games, movie tickets. It takes a lot for me to dislike something, and if there is something that is the greatest reason, it's prejudice (I.e. CoD). And I love Destiny no matter what. (Also, what if they have cool shaders?)

I already pre ordered gumbo giant deluxe op suck edition
-
2 RepliesI decided a long time not to preorder. I'm waiting until after Destiny 2's release before making a decision to buy it or not.
-
I mean, Infinite Warfare's story isn't that bad, just the choices they made. Plus preordering does nothing, literally. They make all that before it's shown off. They don't put up preorders for Infinite Warfare before they have a story.
-
I'll take two
-
I preordered Titanfall 2, and it seemed to work.
-
3 RepliesTitanfall has the absolute best multiplayer I have ever played, rivaled only by titanfall 2.
-
Still preordering
-
Mmmmmm... actually I think I'll just pre-order it.
-
Yeeeeeah...it's a no for me. Gonna pre order that bitch as soon as it's available.
-
1 ReplyI have had tons of fun in destiny so far. So -blam!- off
-
Thanks, but I will pre-order and I will get the season pass. I love Destiny and have put well over 1k hrs into it. You show me any hobby you can do for 1k hrs this cheap. I will be supporting Bungie.
-
I will be pre ordering because the money isn't my issue, if the game gets mismanaged again I won't be trusting Bungie ever again. I don't care if they make a great game the third time around I won't be messing with anything that has Bungie's name on it. Unless they changed staff then I might think about it but till then I will preorder D2.
-
If you think I'm buying Destiny II, you're actually brain-dead. I can't believe people still have hope in Bungie after the shit-hole that they have created the last few months in this game. It blows my mind.

For me, how much I liked the last game in a series has something to do if I preorder or not. If I've greatly enjoyed every game in the series thus far, I see no harm, as the next release should be just as good. If I'm not sure about something, I wait and see. Maybe even play a bit at a friends house before I decide if I want it or not. And lastly, if there is some pre order bonus that I really like (throwing in a game's soundtrack with it usually does it for me) then I will see about pre ordering just for that extra item.
