What moment in destiny made YOU feel badass?
My badass feeling was during the Croats End raid when the music would come on when the sword bearer would tell everyone to "take him down" and you'd shoot your rockets.
Pretty amazing feeling

When TTk first dropped and you just finished the first couple of missions. You get the quest for your 3rd subclass from the vanguard. I loved the exposition you get when flying in from orbit it hypes the mood. Adding a hole new perspective to your subclasses and how they represent you and your Guardian. Then you find your new form of light. wave after wave of enimes attack you in a feeble attempt to Bring you down. All the while you are full to the brim with light. You shoot of your super like it going out of style. The dust settles, and all that's left is you and your new found power. That moment made me feel like a complete badass. Edit: was a lot longer then originally planned but none the less epic.

First time VoG. I had been solo since i started in late September. So no good gear/guns. Then, around xmas 2014 xur sold icebreaker. All the sudden i'm doing nightfalls every week, i made a new character...it changed how i played. I think it was LFG on here(way before "recruitment") and this dude named Justin offered to take me through vog first time. They loaded up hard mode and i said "guys, i'm gonna be worthless, i've never even played normal. I don't know the mechanics". man, they didn't care at all. That first run i got fatebringer and vex. Started raiding much more frequently after that.

I main hunter and i felt like a true badass when the crota raid came out and i got the fireteam i joined our very first raid win. Man you wouldnt belive the nervousness i had lol

Soloing a nightfall in year one with out using any cheese spots.

In zone control right off the initial spawn I rushed the enemy team and got em all at their spawn. In trials I got 2 headshots right in a row, both enemies had just picked up heavy. In PvP, I stuck a smoke bomb to a hammer bro titan who had his super active. While he was blinded I melee'd him to death. To be fair, at my skill level, these were more lucky moments with situations that came together just right for me... overall I'm not very good.

Year one, vault of glass. Fighting atheon and about to win, when the shield glitch occurs and my entire team gets destroyed. I'm still alive and have grabbed the relic. Atheon is on a slither of health and about to clutch. Using my thrust (I'm a Titan) I launch into the air and drive bomb atheon with the relic. I am the bad ass of all bad asses! ... ... Then a Sublicant (suicide harpy incase I got the name wrong. Been a while.) appears right in front of me and explodes. Killing me and ruins my clutch moment. But my team still cheered me on, I felt like a total bad ass and we destroy Atheon in the next round.

Flayers NF. Void Burn. Random and I waltz through strike, wiping once (maybe twice?) due to a glitch. Reach bosses, both take out Dark Drinker. Boom, 15 seconds to strike finish. Unstoppable.

On combined arms map as a titan. Pulled out my sparrow, stuck a lightning grenade to the seat and shot the sparrow until it flew off, burning into a room full of enemy players and got me a screenful of medals, competed bounties and flying ragdoll bodies.

Over a month ago I was doing the raid to get the start of the outbreak prime quest. I went in with randoms, and the internet was being stupid so I kept getting lagged out. Aksis phase 2, I lagged out several times and apologized every time I came back in. They were cool with it. Finally beat the final phase, and we all scrambled to the final monitor. I got it, thanked them, and about a minute later I lagged out. I felt so BA because I defied the fact that the wifi was being shite. Now I'm back at college and my brother got it for me. Woooooooooo

I was Last Guardian Standing versus three Jug-Shotgunners on Bannerfall. With a sidearm and Radiant Skin. What to do, what to do. They ended up cornering me in the back corridor on the New Monarchy side, so I bolted, my life flashing before my eyes as a titan rushed in to T-Bone me, and I popped Radiant Skin. They approached just slowly enough that I palmed one of them, stickied another one, then sidearmed the last one. It was a glorious day. On a similar run, we matched up against a self-rez, and it just so happened that he and I got into a little 1v1 out by Mohawk. I dropped him, and as I rushed towards my allies' orbs, "Enemy Target Revived!" flashed up, and my teammate groaned a little. (No super-killing weapons). I changed course, throwing up my own Radiance and the party instantly kicked up to 11, as the 2 or 3 sticky nades I threw found their mark. It was lit.

To be perfectly honest, the moment I KNEW I was about to take down Phogoth the first time. Solo run. I was under leveled for the fight (yeah, quite a while ago ;) ). I still had no clue as to what I was even doing in this game yet. When I heard the words "at least he's chained up", I looked at my wife and said... "I think this is going to HURT"! Taking him down in that situation made me feel SOLID!!! The next time just about had to have been on the Black Spindle. We took down the boss first and then saw nothing but a see of black and white. Holy CRAP! THAT was an awesome feeling when the last of them went down. I've had minor badass moments during the game, but those two times were the first (and possibly the biggest) moments I thought of. :)
