Raiding is my favorite activity in all of Destiny. To bad I can barely find a team to run them. Not only do we have to go out of game to find a team, which isn't the worst thing in the world, but then there are multiple sites stretching the dwindling player base even further. I sincerely hope there is a plan for adding an lfg system into the game for all activities but especially raids. Even with the current state of the game I think this would breathe fresh life into all of the "older" activities.
Edit: Example; Make a recruitment tab in the main menu with all the different activity options and a list of filters.

They just need to have a LFG tool IN-GAME. Recruitment on your website to force "hits" and claim your website is frequently visited is just shady & lazy. They already have been hit by the investor & publisher question of: "Why does such a low % of the playerbase run ___ content?" That they had to change progression around to curb pkayer drop off & try to promote folks to run said content with a bigger cushion/less difficulty. If they just had in game LFG, so much content in game would get run more often. Raids, CoE, Nightfall to name a few. Despite what forum users here say, about 80% of the Destiny playerbase does not use or even know about LFG websites. Why? It isn't in the game. No character or quest in the game informs the player to leave the game and search the web for LFG sites. Even if it got patched in to tell them, most gamers won't leave their game to do so. Most gamers do not want to: 1. Leave/Turn off current game. 2. Go to ___ website. 3 Log in/register to said website 4. Create a post/ad 5. Wait for replies to said post/ad. 6. Form up on psn/live 7. Re-enter/relaunch Game with acquired people. 8. Finally run said content. Heh....now that I wrote it out...that is quite a PITA. Amazing how much fat gets cut out by having it all in-game... Well I would like to believe D2 will have LFG in game. If not then D2 may not be worth getting as Bungie would have proven it learned nothing from D1.

7 RepliesEvery other successful game applies Matchmaking to raids. IT works wonderfully. Bungie adds dumbass mechanics to its raids, which in the end don't add fun, but increase play time so they claim that random players wouldn't make it enjoyable. yet EVERY OTHER SUCCESSFUL GAME DOES THIS

8 RepliesIf you want to roll the dice on teammates without vetting them first, be my guest. I'll still be using this or another site to make a more educated judgement of my team. Also, join a clan. I did and Raid teams are easy to come by. Maybe look there.

13 RepliesMay I suggest a clan sir? It could help your problem.
-
7 RepliesI would like a switch to an in game lobby system

15 RepliesHave optional matchmaking for raids. Problem solved.
-
1 ReplyOptional. No argument.

6 Repliessadly the "advanced raiders" don't want raid to make it more accessible because then their precious gear won't be as special. all they care about lording the raid gear over others and setting stupidly rediculous requirements to join them on a raid

5 RepliesMake raids a more important part of endgame as well. I know that raids are the pinnacle of the PvE experience, and the first time doing a raid is definitely fun, but there's no reason to play after 5-10 runs in which you'll likely get everything. I don't think that artificially extending the grind by making increasing RNG a la VoG is the way to go about it either. Give players reasons to keep playing the raids, without just solely relying on RNG drops.

1 ReplyI actually find that it is already pretty accessible. We have multiple LFG sites and the Recruitment tab here. Asking around in the social spaces and in your own clan (if applicable) also works. In addition, Xbox Live added in an LFG tool some time ago into the party system on the dashboard that is fairly easy to use and is very populated. But I could see an in game one helping to keep it more centralized.

8 RepliesShould have never been through a third party or through an app. That has and will always be my biggest issue. By far the dumbest aspect of any game I have ever played in my 40 years.

Edited by PattyDog84: 2/5/2017 11:05:19 AMTotally didn't read what OP said..... I actually agree.

1 ReplyBungie doesn't want OMM or MM for raids. It's the way it is. So...on top of that the raids themselves are stale. They should add a bounty system for the raids like the vanguard has. Completing them would yield...stuff. I dunno. But it would have an additional benefit to complete them.

2 RepliesI feel it's way easier to type on my phone. Generally using talk to text. Then he use the clunky in system message keypad, and no I'm not hooking up my keyboard to a game system.

1 ReplyAgree totally, I also want optional matchmaking for nightfall.

2 RepliesRaid first comes out: Posts are 24/7 Now: We have done it as many times as we wanted and have all the rewards and 400 light, blah blah blah Real Issue: Most of the player base is done with the raid/s, so less posts in recruitment

10 RepliesEdited by UFSman: 2/4/2017 11:11:44 PMWhen I first started playing this game. I sent out friend requests in strikes, sometimes I got nothing. Sometimes I got lucky found a English person, who played at the same time as me. By the end of the second month when the game first came out, I was a member of three different raid teams. I was doing 3 raids plus a week and had fun all though db and how. That changed when ttk came out. I had to find a new team cuase my PS3 would not play the raid. So I did it again and used the 100 website I found yet another team and carried on raiding, but my team fell apart cuase of lack of content. I again went out and messaged random people. Again I found myself a raid team And when roi came out I had change clans 3times since the game first came out. but cause all my PS3 friends moved to PS4 I found myself back among my friends and we still raid once a week. so I got one thing to say to these people who say and post things like this did god not give you a mouth to speak or is your personality that bad that you push people way just message people you have the tools to do so did you forget what you learnt in school or wore you home schooled? Cause those are the only reasons I understand why you would go though life without making friends so get out and send messages to randoms you may never know but hey you may end up with friends.

1 ReplyI think raids are better with people you know, plus their are literally 100 LFG sites
-
1 ReplyThey will have matchmaking for raids in D2. It won't help anyone though as matchmaking for end game content is a disaster.

8 Repliesthere is an in game thing called the tower...I've raided using multiple ways to find teams for years ...
-
5 RepliesSo use multiple sites. That's what I've always done and I've never had a problem finding a raid team. It usually takes me, on average, 5 minutes to find a team. It's not that bad.

8 RepliesHi. The lfg system Bungie introduced into the game was through recruitment in the app.
