Suggestion for Xur: Ditch Sparrow cores
I don't see why you guys even have Xur selling these stupid thing. If they could be applied to legendary sparrows then that might be one thing, but they can't. As it is there are way too many cooler looking sparrows that people use and they can't even use those cores. So have Xur stop selling those so he can sell the different heavy ammo packages and Three of Coin.

2 RepliesI thought that their was going to be a reward for upgrading all those sparrows with all those different cores Xur sells. How wrong I was. I remember being told about, and then seeking it out in the armoury, the exotic sparrow. And I thought back in year 1 that that's how you get it. I will go off and get them all. Well I did and it gave me nothing. I also did this with the ships, got every single one, and no, even after all that it didn't offer me a quest or the exotic ship, so I'm non the wiser. Xur is their for the new players. Leave him be. He's not for you anymore, he's for the newly joining and soon to join players.

6 RepliesMove them to Amanda Holiday and let us apply them to any sparrow......we have awesome SRL sparrows with sweet colour schemes, would be nice to throw a sparrow drive on them to either match or contrast their paint jobs.

They should just have him sell raid item engrams for 3 strange coins too right? or the fan fav vanilla legendaries as well? how about re rolling weapons for 1 strange coin? re roll armor for 1 stick of spearmint gum too? lets have him sell the queens wrath weapons/ other items for a firm handshake ... can't forget that what else could xur welfare..... in place of sparrow engines upgrades...... oh a key that grants you the lighthouse and the ability to open the chest for 1 mote of light and 2.54 glimmer.... This change serves no purpose leave it alone xur is a blight enough as it is no need to take away the one harmless thing he does (no matter how irrelevant it is)

Not a special event mind you it was theorized that sparrow racing was a permanent part of the game. Otherwise why would the sparrows need to come in different grades(greens sparrows, blue sparrow, or purple sparrows) also why do sparrows have speed on them??? One of the original theories was that sparrow racing was a part of the game and was cut out of it. Not sure why Bungie left in all that crap in here but that is a fun fact (well theory anyway) for you bro. 😀

LOL those have been in the game since vanilla launch LOL the are used to turn blue grade sparrows into purple grade sparrows. But as of today they are totally useless. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Xur suffers from not having any EXCLUSIVE gear of his own. He brings exotics, heavies, legacy engrams, sparrow stuff, and 3oC. Most people have almost everything he can carry right now, so he's just the 3oC vendor for most people. Really stupid. In Y2, they made Strange Coins way more easy to get, but there is really no use for them anymore. IMO, perhaps the solution is that Xur can sell something infusable into any exotic weapon ONLY in order to increase overall damage by 10%. The affect will be PVE ONLY, and you can only get one per week at a price of 75 strange coins. Depending on whether the weapon is a primary, special, or heavy, you should be able to put 1 to 4 of these cores into your weapon (1 for primaries, 2 for specials, and 3 for heavies). In order to make this applicable to PVE only, the damage boost will be entirely disabled in PVP - and we KNOW Bungie can at least separate PVE damage from PVP because we've seen them do it before... This would make exotics more powerful, it would give coins a purpose again, and lets players buff an exotic of their choice and build their loadout around it. It also provides something that will give the player a greater sense of power progression in PVE.

19 Replies3OC? 3OC killed the concept of what exotic were intended for. This y2 crap was only Bungie reversing the role and now your legendary is your exotic. You know, creating that "variety" knowing all of y1 worked across the entire board. Bungie used this "we wanted weapons to feel the same across the entire board" yeah.... None of the vendors are used as intended except 1 that is Bungie's priority in this game over every single vendor. Tess, the wonderful well rewarding slot machine that has worse odds then Vegas. Xur was meant to sell unique items. Not crap you can get from every other event. Bungie lack of effort in this game is insulting and shows how much they actually give a flying hoot going on 3 freaking years now.
