Why hate the Chaperone?
Seriously, it is the best shotgun that I have used. Do people hate it because it requires skill and effort to use? And has no one tried it with a Voidwalker Warlock with Ophidian Aspect? It's really powerful, and is great for high mobility. I don't know, everyone ever tells me it is crap but I beg to differ.

To me it's one of the only guns in this bland game that really shines as fun and interesting. I'm still waiting for the day that one guy complains about chaperone and Bungie scrambles for a reason to nerf it and makes the weapon useless.

The answer to your first question is yes, why use a weapon that you have to aim when you can just point a matador in the general vicinity and get better results?!

1 ReplyChaperone is fun to use in pubs. In sweats, forget it. Matador just outclasses it completely. There lies the problem.

I don't hate it cuz well it's the only shotgun I love and that it has slug rounds rather than pellet rounds. It's mainly what I love to use in Battlefield 3 and Battlefield 4. XD

I like if, the only problem with it is that its either a hit or miss. I love using it and my buddy fimi a.k.a. The funpolice always uses it and he loves it to bits. I just like jade rabbit more then chaperone

Best thing ever for me, bout to try out quick draw, snap shot with my hunter, already gotten tea bagged, after long kill streaks with chappy. Even shutdown a fist of havoc with one head shot. Simply amazing.

Well the chaperone is not a bad weapon just compared to other shotguns it can be not good in some areas the fact that is cannot one shot to the body only the head. But it is one of the funnest weapons I have ever used so it has a very big fun factor. I have to say if you love the weapon you use it have fun do well! Even if people say it is not the most high tier weapon who cares do out and do well!

Well... Shotgun range + Required headshot = meh, BUT! It is extremely fun and satisying when it does pull off.

Heck the thing doesn't even increase on mayhem modes. No I don't have it yet and I doubt I ever will have it cause I will always forever be stuck on step one until Bungie removes the death penalty from that step, if they even ever do that. I doubt they will though to appease the sweaty PVP'ers

Why do people hate Chaperones? They won't let you do anything fun in field trips, for one. Then they sit everybody down and talk to them about why your decisions were "irresponsible" and that "all of you could've gotten hurt." At least that's why I hate them.
