Teach me your ways
I would love to know how to shove people the duck out of my way. You know the old adage if you can't win join. I can't get my s rank for the last week cuz I keep getting shoved. teach me oh teacher

Just ride smooth and use your slide boost around corners. Bumping and shoving happens for the flight over 3rd. If you watch the successful racers on youtube, count how many times they intentially bump someone. Next to none, because it takes you away from your top speed. Take you and I in a drag race, Me going in a straight line, or you while doing a bunch of lateral movement. It's a no brainer. If you want to win, stay out of the drama. Also, miss a gate on purpose if you are off your racing line, you waste more time trying to hit it instead of just setting for the next gate.

6 RepliesI win without any SRL gear. The ability to ride in a straight line and side boost at key points is honestly quite rare judging from what I've been seeing. So many have problems with the big features of each map (forklift, fan blades, etc). Honestly, just learn from your mistakes. Learn to drift on curves and side boost on sharp turns. For the love of god don't do any barrel rolls for tricks

2 RepliesI always sandbag the start by 5-10 seconds. #1 - You don't get caught in the 1st lap cluster. #2 - Bigger gates and a clean track. #3 - Gives time for the field to string out so you're passing 1 at a time. Also (although I've never tried it), I heard if you hold the stick forward while you're in the pack it makes you harder to push around.
