The class is broken hammers are too slow and easy to dodge and the tracking is useless not to mention cauterize cool down is stupid a group of 3 hell even 2 can easily take you down it needs a buff take the cool down off or make the cooldown 1.5secs plus buff the tracking on hammers as that was nerfed too much btw what's different about about hungering blade and cauterize both the same so why does cauterize deserve a cooldown? Talk about balance much

All this talk about PvP, but what about PvE? Cauterize needs that cooldown removed. I shouldn't have to pray for freaking health regen when I'm desperately throwing hammers to save my ass fron hordes of siva fallen or hive or whatever. I'd also like my hammers to actually hit the things I'm throwing them at. Make sunbreaker good in pve again!

1 ReplyI just use suncharge to get my kill it have no waiting period if you hit your target

The Sunbreaker adjustment was quite harsh actually. And I feel it hasn't recovered well, and although I use it in PVP from time to time, it's simply not competitive. It's mainly down to how the hammers work. Their travel speed, and distance needs tuning to help guide the hammers towards the targets easier. People just jump and because of it's trajectory they often miss. Some of that I blame myself for. The Detection or Proximity needs increased, just to make it more generous especially when the hammer lands at their feet and does no damage. Or flys past their shoulders and doesn't click🙄 Otherwise it's pretty good, really good in PVE because of chain damage.

I dunno bout buffing or nerfing the subclass... but I'm pretty sure the 'tracking' actually does nothing. Like I've never seen it do anything.

20 RepliesIt's funny how many actual morons are commenting on here and don't want it buffed and do not see the point I'm trying to get here all I'm saying is BUFF the tracking and Take away the cooldown on cauterize or nerf it to 1.5 or something but all I'm seeing is invalid comments that include suncharge which I never said anything about that and other crap seriously read before you type

4 RepliesEdited by Ace_Eyed_Ace: 12/30/2016 3:50:57 AMAre you kidding?! Sunbreaker is fine as it is. Before its nerf, now that was broken! Nerfing both the armor and cauterize was harsh, but I'm used to it now and so should pretty much everybody who plays as sunbreaker. BTW, I main a Titan and I main sunbreaker....

I main titan. Sunbreaker is fine.

Talk about balance much
You've spent 8 hours on your Titan and none of that time was in Crucible. A group of 2-3 competent players can down any roaming super; Sunbreaker is not unique in that regard. The difference between Cauterize and Hungering Blade is Cauterize applies to ALL abilities including Grenades while Hungering Blade only applies to the Super and Melee. Another difference is the inherent nature of the Supers; Bladedancers require you to get up close to get a kill while Hammers can be thrown safely from a distance. Pre-patch Cauterize was just a better Hungering Blade in every way.

Maybe you need to do it better.

Edited by Its TRK: 12/30/2016 2:47:10 AMI've been having some success with hammers recently. I prefer the subclass over striker at the moment.

6 RepliesEdited by PwNy: 12/30/2016 2:24:10 AMHoS is very solid. You can't run in there willy-nilly like pre-nerf because you're not invincible anymore (I distinctly remember sniping a HoS Titan in the head back then, seeing the dmg number pop up, but his health bar continuing to go up lol), but getting 2-4 kills per super is still pretty easy, with the potential to wipe out an entire 6-man team. Plus it takes out Stormtrance and Bladedancer easily and you can usually trade with a Golden Gun or Nova Bomb. Not sure you can really ask for more. And you're wrong about the armor, HoS has a lot of dmg resistance, roughly 2x your HP (you can tank a 388 sniper HS). What you said about being 4 bursted by a pulse rifle is ludicrous.

If you are struggling at throwing the hammers, then use suncharge.

31 RepliesEdited by Sliceef: 12/28/2016 9:46:10 PMIt's not the subclass it's you, listen you guys have 8 auto tracking area affect projectiles that ate ohk and you guys also have the most armor in the game. If u can't kills with it play a different subclass. Hungering blade doesn't have a cool down because we have to be within melee range to use it and they get less armor with it then u guys do, so yeah it is balanced.
