RIP wallet if you want the armor
Well its happening again guys and girls. If you want armor you got yo spend over $50 for it. Just give us the armor instead of saying no you have to buy it to get it.

I've spent 20 and got everything but the cloak so far. Drop rates from what I've seen aren't so bad. Do you have to drop money to get the full set? Depends how lucky you are, but anyone who has to give $50 or more to get it is just unlucky.

Tbh if micro transactions are going to be bringing this kind of caliber of updates, it's fine with me. We got the dawning for free. If they charged like HoW or DB then you could complain.

Here is the flip side of the coin. I have been a casual destiny player for the last year and a half. I now have more money than free time. I wouldn't have spent a penny during vanilla because I played every day. I see the cool new armor and drop $20; got everything except the boots. I don't have time for the grind anymore but I love this game. Money well spent.

I plan on just getting to rank 5 on all three characters then doing the weeklies. I might reset a character to see if I can do srl from level1 and get it to rank 5....if I can. If I can I'm sure I'll have the armor set for one character before it ends

Spent $20 and got all the armor on my warlock. Not even gonna bother spending another $40 on my Titan or Hunter

Yeah I've only made one small investment on Destiny and that was buying the taken King when it was $30 I refuse to give them any more money.

I never buy things with silver and I kind of hate the idea but, I will admit that I paid this time. I don't feel as ripped off because for $20 I got every single one of the exotic ornaments I wanted plus the full dawning set on my Titan. Wish they made it attainable through playing but at least they haven't messed with eververse giving you the competitive edge. (yet)
