Iron Banner Rift!? You kidding me!!
This in the past has been the worst iron banner experience. I am disappointed already and it isn't even Tuesday...
Sorry if I don't get to everyone's post to respond I'm trying my best. Just to be more clear, I don't have an issue with winning in iron banner this isn't whining it's simply drawing the fact this game mode is not very enjoyable

2 RepliesBungie IMPLIED that they MAY have taken Iron Banner Rift out of rotation. They did not break any promises, they did not they lie to us. The only thing that you can blame them for is a POSSIBLY wrong decision of selecting Rift. About that, let me tell you this: Iron Banner Rift does NOT decrease your drop rates. It does NOT decrease your K/D. It does NOT affect reputation gained. And yes, fireteams have an advantage in this gamemode, probably more in this specific game mode. Then again, as far as I know, LOSING DOES NOT AFFECT YOUR DROP RATES. So please stop whining about this months Iron Banner and stop being a bunch of bandwagon-hopping crybabies. And if you really don't like Rift, why not play some normal Crucible, and whine on this forums about something that is relative? Sincerely, a casual PvE player.

By bringing Rift back Bungie is about to show all of you new players what it was like to get stomped back in year 1 BEFORE SBMM was implemented. Que into Rift solo during IB and you are already at a disadvantage. You will lose and you will lose badly more than you will win. Every one of you that bought into the nonsense that the neck beard in his basement was spewing needs to experience this. SBMM was necessary for the average/below average players to have fun playing PVP. You flooded the FORUM with remove SBMM posts and now Bungie is going to give you a sneak peak of what gameplay is like without it. Enjoy Rift. You deserve it.

I like rift so it's awesome to me. It's like a mix of football, basketball, and space magic.......with guns! I have a team though kinda so our experiences are probably very different.

The other modes it's pretty easy to get on the same page with a half competent team. Don't cap three spots. Pick up the crest. Get kills in the zone. In comparison... Pick up the spark. Who me? No I want it. Oh, OK. When are you going to get it? Damnit I'll do it if no one else is! You are supposed to cover me, why are you going that way? How the hell am I supposed to cover you when you ran way up front... The game is a f[i]u[/i]cking cluster f[i]u[/i]ck without a FIRETEAM which is damn near impossible for most players at this stage of the game. AND if by some miracle from RNGesus a group of randoms sinks up and stomps somebody, guess what... [spoiler]We are breaking up those teams...[/spoiler] It's a slog for even a good solo player to be successful under those conditions Yea, f[i]u[/i]ck that noise It's like Bungie is [b] TRYING[/b] to strangle the last bit of life out of this game

Rift is a game mode not for the weak. It twas a warlock training exercise after all. Only the best enjoy it.

Well, just grab the Spark over and over. Or score. Team that carries the most or scores the most wins 9/10. Having a mildly good team in terms of skill, support, ot aiming ability isn't all that necessary in Rift. Just helps to have people familiar with Capture the Flag sryle game types like from Halo games. You gotta ESCORT the flag/SPARK carrier. No one does this in Destiny. It's all RAMBO MODE for every mode of gameplay...Rush into gunfire and mobs of enemies without thinking first then hope for the best. Lmao! 😂

10 RepliesOh suck it up and learn to play objective based game modes. That's what this whole community needs to do. Want proof? Talk to the guys in Shores of Time on A-flag. Or the kinderguardians that keep going for the triple cap. Take a look at the people who turn Salvage into Skirmish. Rift really isn't any different. People who don't know how to run spark goes for it, and everyone runs off and does things by themselves. So when the scrubby runner dashes into the firing lines, the opposite team absolutely rips through said runner from the rift.

Rift is unbearable solo. As much as I despise it. Probably going to team up with randoms on #recruitment. I advise everyone to do the same if you really dislike the random factor in a team.

18 RepliesIm grateful. Makes it easier to stay off Destiny. I got finals coming up, and other fun games to play. Thankfully bungie has got my back and is making their game sucky so that i wont be tempted to spend hours on it this close to finals. Thank you bungie.
