Hey guys i don't know about you guys but i'm a year one player. Back in year one this community was so positive. And i'm tired of seeing all the negativity in this community in the new years of destiny. Everyone who reads this, feel free to post the things you ENJOY about this game and what makes this game fun. My personal favorite is the level of customization you can do on your own character and the way you can stack abilities with weapons. Whats yours?
Wow! I did not think id get so much feedback. Thank you all for participating and helping unite the community!
Bungie thank you guys for such a great game that has a constant grind and is always challenging my playing abilities and introducing new ideas!

2 RepliesI love how the game feels. But, level of customisation? Are you sure you're on the right forum?
-
Love the gun handling and character movement. The best in any fps I've played.

The art in this game is amazing, just take a second to look around

1 ReplyI love a lot of things about the game. Too many to name but I truly love it's beautiful soundtrack and artwork that made up the level design

8 RepliesI love this game. All you people that "quit" the game but still post on the forum (salt shakers), all you people that have played for hundreds of hours and complain that you haven't got your money's worth, and all you people who list game after game that's better than Destiny... F you. Just go away. Go play your 'better' games. Go buy the 5 cheeseburgers you could get for the cost of ROI. Especially the people who create a post to announce that they're leaving. Why would you possibly think we care.? If you hate Destiny so much, what benefit do you get from whining and bitching everytime someone has something positive to say? The world's not perfect. Get over it. Try finding something you love and appreciating it instead of cutting down someone else's love.
did I mention that I love Destiny?
1 ReplyEdited by Project88mph: 11/27/2016 2:03:45 PMAll round I have never played a game that hits so many things I like than destiny. I love sci fi and this is a great universe they have (slowly) created. The gun play is similar to Halo which was my favourite shooter growing up (well teens and 20s). I never got into mmorpg games but the depth of getting different loot and armour and perks etc is just the right amount for me to be engrossed with collecting them. I love comic super heroes (wow realising what a nerd I am) so the super abilities and how they mix with gunplay also make it such a great experience. I'm no fool and I understand the complaints about pvp. Bungie has the impossible task of pleasing everyone and its not possible. The fundamental issues of P2P are real but I still mostly enjoy it. Fingers crossed for dedicated servers for Destiny 2. The range of activities for PVE are amazing when compared to most first person shooters. I feel people don't give it enough credit as they treat it like a poor mmorpg than an excellent shooter. It's Grinding yes but we all do it and those that have the most salt are usually the ones that have weeks of game play to their name. Even if you paid full for each expansion it can't be said you didn't get your money's worth compared to the majority of other games. I say overall job well done Bungie. I love this game and the majority of the community.

If I may: TTK had its moments when it includes HoW on Mars. That brought back memories. However, I affectionately call that DLC, "Emo Land", because the music is so depressing. Not oppressive. Depressing. I've got the OST and I like about 4-6 songs out now the whole 2 disc OST. RoI has awesome music and makes a play back to beta and year 1 status where the music makes you feel enthralled and just pumps you up. When I heard the heavy metal version of Septiks Prime's song, I about pooped myself over it. I still love it! Hell, the soundtracks alone make the new DLC fun! And it's got Danny FREAKING Glover as Lord Saladin! Well the face not the voice, but still! The music for the temple is beautiful. It combines loss, life, and hope. It brings all of the anguish and pain Saladin has endured over the centuries of losing his fallen comrades. And then it adds to the hope he has again when we Guardians take out the SIVA and Fallen. TDB, as I've affectionately called, was Crota's Rave Party with the music. It combined a long story line with, sadly, a somewhat short type raid. However, it challenged Guardians to find new ways to accomplish it using different methods. And it was also the raid where people I ran it with gave two rips if I didn't have the Ghorn. All they wanted to know is if I had a tracking rocket launcher. HoW combined SRL and a short DLC which turned into Destiny's version of Whacky Racers. I was ok with SRL but it lacked a lot. It also gave me my most favorite strike, The Shadow Thief, aka, Let's Build Taniks a House...of PAIN!!! That strike gave birth to my striker Titan, Mongo. Arc damage plus brawler plus airborne equals clearing a whole room with 1 super. Of course Skolas, or grandpa Archon, gave birth to 6-8 hour runs. And the music for that DLC rocked! And then we got year 0-1. VoG. The raid of all raids. It combined teamwork and abilities to a whole new level. It separated the Guardians from the Ghosts. To this day, it has some of the most kickass looking armor for all three classes to date. And it allowed us to kill not one, but two gods! And was educational as it used a lot of Greek mythology. TLDR: 3/4 DLCS good.

3 RepliesRight now, if you don't have anyone to play with on a regular basis, there's nothing good about this game....specially if you're a player that has been here since the beginning.
-
All the abilities and guns are cool af.
-
I enjoy training in the Crucible. The naysayers in the Consensus don't understand.. I also enjoy those moments when the enemy attack is sustained and a fire team can pull out all the stops and start chaining supers. I enjoy seeing all the Guardians turn up when there is an enemy to fight.
-
Nothing to add here, much the same as Bungie! I think they've really backed themselves into a corner & Destiny 2 can't possibly deliver 😬
-
Skeleton key drops. They are amazing! *sarcasm*

2 RepliesMy Deathsinger's Gaze helmet, which is my favorite design of a piece of piece of gear in any game, ever. I love the gear in this game.
-
I enjoy how this game brings out my desire to get better at pvp.
-
I love how all (well, most) of the effort we put into this game carries over to the next iteration of the game. I love the persistent characters. The weapons and armor that carry over from one version to the next. In fact, the one time Bungie decided not to do this was universally considered the worst version of Destiny, TDB. Since then, Bungie changed course, and allowed most if not all of you effort to carry over. The game has been pretty amazing since then. There isn't anything else like it, even though it's still deeply flawed. And most of those flaws are amazingly easy to fix.
-
It's my all-time favorite game. There is always something to do and new challenges...like this week's Nightfall. I can't wait for Destiny 2.
-
How to still enjoy a game i love, when it has no more PvE content to do for me? I'm also a PvP player and it's PvP is broken beyond repair........and Bungie refuses to make it good.

10 RepliesCustomisation is dog shit and so shallow on Destiny, try eso if you like building a character and kitting it out.
