Might as well share a few of my experiences.
2 months before Rise of Iron was released, some randoms invite me out of the blue to get me to help them through King's Fall on Normal.
All of the other five were salty squeakers who took 15 minutes to get past the tombship puzzle. The idiots couldn't even do Totems. Hell, one of them was only a 260. After wasting an hour of my time, I decided to ditch those stupid kids.

11 RepliesHere's some backstory: I'm Canadian. I'm way too nice sometimes I have spent more time in raids then I should because I have this hangup about bailing on people. I've joined a group and after one attempt at something I just knew there was no way in hell they were going to beat it, but I toughed it out for an hour or two, tried to give advice, only to end up wasting my time. Hasn't happened a ton, maybe half a dozen times. But still when I come back for D2, as Alice Cooper once said "No more, Mr. Nice Guy"

Had a group a while back that made me stay away for a bit. 4 Titans and 2 Hunters. I was a Hunter. 1.) They keep dying at the beginning and I get almost all of the voltage. 2.) Vosik was killed on the first try. 3.) This is where the nightmare starts. The Titans refuse to switch off of Defender and insist on making a bubble train to deliver the parts. Takes us about 10 or more tries. 4.) Before we start Phase 1, we agree that the person who gets empowered in Phase 2 won't pick up the cannon. We wipe a couple of times, but get through. 5.) This is terrible. People keep dying again. The other guy on my side keeps picking up the cannon and running off, even when he's empowered, and doesn't come back. People keep dropping the cannons and not using them, even during the third stun. After about 6 wipes, one guy causes another wipe because he doesn't know that Shock=Arc, even though we've been using Shock, Scorch, and Null through all of Phase 1 and 2 for our callouts. We eventually kill him and I get the Scout and Auto. I had to take a break from LFG for a while.

5 RepliesSo back in year 2, CoE was huge to getting to 335. Anyways, on Tuesday's I did my usual message out to LFG, and got 2 ppl. It's going pretty normal. As we are loading in to the Prison, I check my teammates. The first guy is fine. The second guy is 284. CoE is recommended 320. We got 100 more points then we needed for 30k and I immediately left and let the guy know to level up more before even attempting it

1 ReplyI spent a couple hours trying to find two people that understood the concept of CoE... Everybody was just killing the bosses as fast as possible. We'd end up with around 19k points at the end, with me having 14k... I guess noobs don't know how to do it.

Joined a group on KF oryx challenge at the sisters and i shit you not 3 of the team were deaf now i have nothing against deaf people but how the hell were we ment to know what plate who torn tried a few times and bailed.

I started kingsfall for my first time right before RoI and someone left at oryx then when we found out that he didn't speak english

Every team I played with where people kept dying on the damn Totems in King's Fall. Particularly remember one run where we was on the Totems for around an hour.

One lfg asked for in the message to say "diddle my belly button senpai" I still sent the message, and didn't get accepted.
