Title says all.
EDIT: Well shit.. we are trending.
Might as well share a few of my experiences.
2 months before Rise of Iron was released, some randoms invite me out of the blue to get me to help them through King's Fall on Normal.
All of the other five were salty squeakers who took 15 minutes to get past the tombship puzzle. The idiots couldn't even do Totems. Hell, one of them was only a 260. After wasting an hour of my time, I decided to ditch those stupid kids.

2 RepliesEdited by Pax: 11/20/2016 7:15:19 PMGolgoroth hard mode someone kept calling out a kid for being 301 and said you should be using black spindle. Looked at his character and he had on a defiance of Yasmin. When confronted he said "It's 320 I wanna use it" We told him to infuse it into his spindle or shut up about not using it, he went on about how we were all filthy virgins and how he gets paid 5 times a day. He was a squeaker

A group I was in last week for WotM Aksis challenge had two 'experienced' guys in the middle cry out: "We need some help killing our Captain! Guys? Help!!" Every... Damn... Time!!!

8 RepliesPt 1 I was desperately trying to find a group who could beat Oryx on hard mode. I just needed one more piece for the shader. I ended up getting an invite from a friend whom I had met on lfg prior to that. I joined the chat and some one said 'yo bro you better be good. We've been doing this for 7 hours and I just kicked the last guy and I will kick you if you die.' I said 'ha ok man I'll make it easy for ya, I'm out' A unanimous 'No wait man it's...' went up from the chat as I left. Ain't nobody got time for that. Pt 2 Yesterday, I went looking for a group to get just one more ornament to finish my warlock. I messaged some one and they said they still needed a hunter. I joined. They were pretty cool, but had very specific strategies and such. I thought to myself "wtf no one does this". We ended up beating hard mode Aksis in 35 minutes with the challenge and 4:31 at the siege engine. That's gotta be some kind of record.

I used to run 3 VoG raids a day during HoW. Basically to become a better raider really. I team up with folk and one particularly foreign dude. Brazilian who spoke perfect Portuguese and decent English. He sends me an invite a day later because we were the only 2 at the time who had any idea how to do VoG out of the previous raid LFG team. Went into Atheon hard checkpoint No one except me spoke English, the other guy simply didn't say anything and all his mates were native and spoke Portuguese and didn't have a clue how to do Atheon. I left, understandably.

3 RepliesPost says must be 400+ and know what to do. Host is 370 and has no clue. Sounds about right.

I once went onto LFG to do WotM and we did it with no wipes

When we first attempted to find a group for the WotM normal mode we happened to find this lets call him douchebag, douchebag hosts a raid party but once people filled the spots and sent requests he immediately posted a Nightfall run instead leaving us waiting for quite a while until be found his new post.

No, here is the only horror story ever needed with regards to LFG...... "You know how to do the (insert whatever boss/mechanic here)?"..... "Oh yeah, I've beaten this before."...... person keeps messing up consistently for over 3 hours and blames not doing something correctly in every other factor but them being clueless....... "dude, why didn't you do that!?!?!!"..... "sorry, I've never actually run this raid before......" THEN JUST SAY THAT IN THE FIRST PLACE AND DONT LIE ABOUT IT

My very first vog completion... We were at gatekeepers and I died very early on to a praetorian (WE'VE ALL BEEN THERE) and this guy absolutely lost it and it was the funniest thing ever! At the end of it he got materials and I got a praedyth's timepiece so obviously I was rubbing that in his face which was fun because he got more mad. The leader knew me and sided with me as justly kicked him, and thus we made a tower run and picked up some random dude (didn't understand lfg back in the olden days) and we found our new guardian. Went in, killed atheon, and I got a mythoclast. My first completion. I squealed and screamed and danced. And everybody hated me. So yeah if he didn't yell I might have gotten something different from killing our favorite Minotaur since we went to the tower :) TLDR because of some raging asshat I got a mythoclast back when it was worth something

3 RepliesI have a good one. It went something like this: Wrath of the Machine: Vosik "390+ light, must have emblem, and must have gone flawless" I immediately found his profile and blocked him.
The luckiest seven you will ever meet
5 RepliesSo I usually have a set group to raid with made up of all friends. But sometimes nobody is on so we have to find ransoms. One time me and 4 other buddies went on LFG to find a group, and we found this dude that INSISTED he spoke English. But yet EVERYTIME he spoke, we had noooo idea what he said and the only thing we could understand was "what the f*ck". Fast forward to Aksis Challenge. We told him to go left and he mumbled something in some made up language almost lmao. So just our luck Aksis decided to go left, and of course he wasn't anywhere near him, so he ran to left from mid but half way through, this dude saw the Servitor plate light up and thought it was a good idea to not stun Aksis but turn completely around and run to the supercharge plate. We gave him the boot and got someone who actually knew how to speak lmao. And keep in mind we did give him plenty of tries, we didn't just boot him because of one occasion.

3 RepliesEdited by Kitteh Force: 11/20/2016 11:54:57 PMI've been in several frustrating situations. The funny thing is, Idk why I never left. I didn't need it, usually. I just stayed because what else was I gonna do at the time? I'll recite something pretty recent. I join this WotM and it is hard mode, Vosik challenge. I have already done it twice this week, literally just doing it for the key fragments. We are at Vosik. I rock my standard scout, void shotgun and sleeper. I am in mid. I have this guy in mid with me who carries his own weight but he seems to talk down, as if he thinks I don't know what I'm doing because I wait to clear the center before grabbing my bomb up front. At the end of the dps cycle, every time, I am hands down the highest DPS, except for one time when one other guy did more than me. The sad part is, most of the time, I am using my scout because I don't have ammo for my sleeper and you can't shotgun him. It's like... How? This guy on left keeps dying, for some reason, and everybody is getting annoyed. Then this one round, Vosik literally does not leave me alone. The entire round, he is just shooting his cannon at me. I am like shit, I'm almost dead and I gotta grab my bomb. I cloak, wait a second for him to shift/his current cannon shot to explode, then go to get my bomb. Guy in mid decides to walk forward, no idea why, Vosik attempts to shoot him and it sticks me while invis and boom, I die. Everybody gets upset at me and I'm thinking, Really? Now, I say thinking because I do not say much. I make callouts if I have to but most of the time, I am silent. I remember back during King's Fall, one raid group called me "Weapons of light in the back" because that was all I said. So, after my death, this guy with me in mid is like, "Dude, you gotta stay back if you are in mid." So frustrating. The annoyance of someone messing up falls onto the next person to mess up, so only the first few -blam!- ups are ever excused. One hour later, guys get some internet issues, everybody leaves and I stay because I'm nice. We get a completely new group, nail it on the second try. Still had highest DPS on the first failed round and we had low dps, so I switched to sniper. I switch to sniper and then people are like, Wow, our dps really picked up and I'm just there like, Well, no shit. Ugh... We clear the rest of the raid without much hiccups.

I once posted about NF is anyone wanna do it w me, then I forgot about the post and went on to join some buddies in crucible, Then someone mssaged me on psn saying: Nightfall Please, (He was around 312..and he really wanted to do it) So I had nothing but to quit the match and join him then do NF. He was pretty good, didn't die except once or twice.
why am I even posting this, it's not funny :(
(This is back when I was a no mic) I joined a VoG and I was pretty nervous because many times I would get kicked because in my past experiences I've been kicked for other people's failures. To my surprise, literally everyone in the raid group didn't have a mic, which was a giant relief. We went through everything without even emotes for communication first try. Honestly probably my favorite raid run ever.

Joined an iron banner team last week. For some reason matchmaking took unbelievably long, we drop in and the lag is just incredible, everyone is telling the leader to just get us out of there since we couldn't even damage anyone. He pipes up with "it'll fix itself soon guys, my YouTube video is almost done uploading". We all left.

10 RepliesOnce I joined a fire team. Was booted for no Gally. From then on when people said they had Gally I booted them. It felt really good

7 RepliesSpent 5 hours on Aksis phase 2 alone last night because we had a 357, a no mic, and a kid who didn't carry his weight at all even a little, and never was where he was supposed to be. I wanted to kill myself.
-
Some guy was trying to carry his 273 girlfriend through Hard Mode KF. I was 309 Light at the time but we only made it to Totems. Obviously she couldn't stay alive for more than 30 seconds and it was generally hell. On the bright side, after the April Update I ran into the exact same couple when they were both 335. We managed to absolutely smash the Oryx challenge and it was a pretty great experience.

5 RepliesI don't even know what lfg stands for?

Mine was back in year one, joined VoG atheon checkpoint. Actually knew what to do then but the two leaders yelled at me the whole time then booted me. Ten minutes later they message realizing no one knew what the relic was. Never replied. Also, what is these elos people keep talking about?
