Apparently you don't have to play to win?
Guy on the bottom of iron banner gets 2 legendaries with 0 kills 0 captures no assists. And I'm at the top with no rewards like what the hell bungo

Had a d-bag like that in my last game do almost nothing for the match, got 3 kills and nearly lost us the game. Got 400 heavy. :-/

True. Caught a player just standing around every time I saw them. Another player just sat. Needless to say they got the best rewards. I don't get it. If anyone can explain this, please do.

Maybe he was a late addition/replacement? I've had a couple matches where it dropped me in at the VERY end... no time to even move let alone shoot anyone... Best yet... at least two of those gave me exotic engrams for my 3oC. ;-)

Start a game, pick up a book, read a page, kill 1 guy, read another page, kill a guy, read ... [spoiler]Running shit loadouts is great aswell. Last night I did a couple "Touch of Malice only" matches.[/spoiler] [spoiler]...beware that other people know the being bad strategy aswell. You have to work on it. I eventually got 1st place with ToM, because people were intentionally doing bad...[/spoiler]

3 RepliesI just got my ass handed to me in trials. My punishment - the trials Titan helm! And yes, I've also had games where I've been Top 3 and got diddly whilst ghosts get mega rewards. RNG should be based on leaderboard. Different rewards for each tier, getting progressively better as you rise up the ranks...

1 ReplyLol...me and a buddy join a game last night. He gets put on alpha as the sixth player...i get put on bravo as the second player. 6 on 2. It's already 9k vs 250. At the last second, four randos get dropped in on my team, all four have 0 kills, 0 captures and 0 points. They each get two purple ib drops. What do me and the dude that's been gettin our asses handed to us get? A mote of light and a blue. Smh. Awesome.

I've won games being dropped in late. Started a game and didn't even spawn in because it was over. Got an exotic from my 3 of coins and a legendary in the rewards. Pretty sweet for a no gamer.

Maybe he got dropped into the game right at the end and had no opportunity to kill or capture anything? Has happened to me a few times in the past, not been as lucky as that though ;)

I got dropped into a game in progress. My team was mercied before I finished the loading screen. Still got loot. Never even spawned in. If rewards were dependent on performance you can bet that people would burn the forums down every time someone joins a game in progress.

Its good how it is, you get a text message, you can reply to it, dog needs to go out, no problem, dinner is ready, you can have it and pick up when you finished. You guys actually want a game you have to play to get anywhere?

Also ranking up doesnt matter anymore so once you get the bounties you might aswell squad up and try to get mercy ruled as quick as tou can for drops
