It is basically a joke now, and it always was, so it needs a buff. I know that some will be like "git gud" but you can only "git so gud" with a bad gun.
1. Get rid of scope glint,
Why is that their it doesn't have any glass in the scope, and you barely snipe with it anyway.
2. More aim assist
It has the same amount of aim assist as other snipers, very low. So buff it. when you get a target in the circle at close to medium range, make it a hit.
Another thing you could do is to increase hitbox size for NLB only.
3. More ammo in reserves or never have to reload.
Make it have more shots in reserve or make ammo go into the mag with each hit. or just make the ammo go instantly in the mag.
4. Make the master perk useful.
Make it do more damage, so it can kill a sunsinger or stormtrance, please it is almost useless.
These buffs might need some reworking or they might be fine, but with these it would be useable in pvp for more than just a joke.
im sure that their are several people who are a god with it and you are just too good with it, but for most people it is near impossible to use.
6 RepliesEdited by XxIronEagIexX: 11/14/2016 2:20:05 AMAs a heavy No Land user, the only change needs to be no scope glint, and for frick's sake it needs twice the ammo.
its supposed to be a challenging gun to use, and adding aim assist would negate that property about it.
-
The No Land is fine and has plenty of aim assist, see gif.
-
1 ReplyI agree with the more ammo in the reserves and making the masterful perk better. But I don't agree with your idea on the scope. This scope is one of the things that makes the gun unique.
-
I could give you feedback but it won't drop.
I cry everytime
I've used NLB a few times. Not a lot, but enough to get a feel for it. I can see how a good player (not me) could shred with this thing. Sniping is probably the one thing that I still haven't learned to do yet in this game. This is a fun gun, and it takes skill to use. The bolt..................................................................................action is a little.................................................................................slow but I guess people could get used to it

2 RepliesEdited by Soma: 11/12/2016 2:18:57 PMI would have liked being around in Y1 with the two ring sights (I guess they increased the zoom value or something?). #TakenTotThings Edit: forgot the more important one: #MiHoyMinoy

Just allow sniper ammo perks on chest and boots give it rounds and it be great
-
It's fine...I have lots of fun with it.
-
2 Repliesum no, NLB is for only truly skilled players to use. Either git gud with it or put it down and find a new weapon.
-
It's good at it's current state but.. it needs a rate of fire buff the bolt pull is super slow in my opinion.
-
Edited by RoscoePurple: 11/12/2016 11:32:06 PMPractice with it until you can post a montage that makes you look like a god while using it. It isn't that hard.
-
It has 51 AA not very low it's fine with the aim assist
-
1 ReplyI disagree. I personally don't care for the weapon but I know there's a cult like following for that thing. Some of the most impressive shots I've seen in crucible have come from that rifle. I personally admire the people who can operate and go positive with it because I know I sure as hell cant. It takes a certain type of patience and skill to use the NLB.
-
1 ReplyIn the hands of a skilled player this stupid antique looking musket fcking thing is a nightmare. I have been destroyed in trials and crucible with this ugly piece of junk on many occasions
-
1 ReplyFriend of mine has gone flawless with nlb. It's not a joke just difficult to learn. So practice
-
Bro nlb is fine as it is.its meant for skilled players who don't need aim assist like the Ldr,1k stare etc.i find it's a unique sniper with the iron sights and bolt action for the true snipers and imo the more you play with it the better you get
-
2 RepliesOverall your kds are the jokes......
-
2 RepliesAre you kidding me? No aim assist? I've gotten countless no scopes with it, and I'm trash at sniping. Just mess around with it for awhile, youll do well.
-
I hear what you're saying but it's literally a one shot primary. It has to be tough to use otherwise it would own at all but shotgun or cross map shots.
-
2 RepliesWTH? 1. I can agree with, although I understand why it's there. 2. Yeah, hard pass. I'm not a very skilled player and I can already get quickscopes with it. Heaven forbid they add more aim assist. It's all anyone would use. OHK's galore. 3. It should have more ammo, but definitely should have to reload. 4. The perk adds considerable precision damage. It can one-hit headshot almost anything, and I've smacked people out of supers with it before, but won't say it's done consistently. This gun is not useless. It just rewards a skilled hand (or someone who decides to just use it because it's fun and eventually gets decent with it like me.). The gun is in a perfectly fine place. No need for a buff or nerf either way.
-
It's actually a pretty good gun as it is, but JESUS CHRIST any one of those buffs would make it overpowered as hell
-
I actually think it's really good and fun to use from time to time.
-
I am sorry. But, No. I understand using No Land Beyond is hard and once you are good with it. People love it. But, if you make it anymore useful. All it truly will do is allow my son to laugh at me even more, when he jumps and no scopes me. So, no! No! No! No!
yes I agree it does need more love.
-
3 mags total ammo, just a touch more aa.
-
The low ammo increase would be damn nice!
