5 Replies1. Consider using "Ethernet over powerline" adapters. I cannot hardwire my devices into a router, but these adapters allow you to use your homes electrical wires as Ethernet cable to transfer data directly from a device to a router. Not quite as fast as true Ethernet cable, but significantly faster and more reliable than Wi-Fi. http://www.bestbuy.com/site/tp-link-3-port-gigabit-pass-through-powerline-kit-white/4403611.p?skuId=4403611 2. Consider getting a router that's optimized for gaming. Many have a feature that will prioritize on-line gaming traffic over other internet/network traffic. http://www.bestbuy.com/site/netgear-wireless-ac1750-dual-band-gigabit-router-with-4-port-ethernet-switch-black/9054017.p?skuId=9054017 These should help.

Edited by theBaDRaD: 11/8/2016 2:58:29 PMRed bar ONLY connection issue ( not tampering ) Should be temporary.... N possibly reversed if player can show / prove connection improvement... I say this cuz people outside the states can get a connection ban .... ( I dont like red bar players but...) *Bungie decided against CBMM* Id be upset if i was one of them that would rather connect to locals.... But really has no choice Ive read posters here pretty much admitting that they tamper with game mechanics to win.... N receive a temp. Ban Tampering should be harsher than unintentional red bar Especially without bungie dedicated servers or CBMM Ive gamed with a good amount of "out of state side" players..... Connecting to them lately ( 3 months r so ) has seemed more difficult than before

1 ReplyIntentional or not, red barring constantly is a banable offense. Why didn't you do something about this sooner? It obviously took a ban for you to take action to correct the problem.

1 ReplyWire him up. I was lagging all the time on wireless, constant red bar, especially when my brother plays at the same time (he is wired). Now im constantly green.

Edited by GANTZ: 11/8/2016 2:40:37 PMI suggest getting another game with dedicated servers and never come back after such treatment , that's what I would do

1 ReplyBungie policy doesn't allow appeals. They will not lift said ban until the allotted time has passed, so unfortunately the one month ban will stand.

4 Repliesif that's the case, get yourself a power line adapter. you'll have a month to save for one

4 RepliesMaybe just order an ethernet cable for your son off of Amazon? Might improve it a little... Can't really be sure on that though. This is me assuming you both play in the same room as your router.

2 RepliesIf I have a bad connection I don't play trials because everybody reports everybody for the slightest thing. It's insaine
