3 RepliesSince there hasn't been many guides on this thread specifically I'll try to make one... So for challenge mode during the regular BOMB THROWING step you do NOTHING DIFFERENT so don't worry about anything until you reach the damage phase. The challenge for this week is to activate both the clean rooms that activate after each damage phase (for a total of four clean rooms). But there's a catch, you have to close each clean room with the bombs that drop during the damage phase. So with this in mind you only have 3 damage phases to kill Vosik so bring your best DPS weapons to kill him. TL:DR Both clean rooms after each damage phase must be closed with bombs that drop during damage phase.

Pretty easy. So when you say challenge, do you mean to actually decrypt the machine is the challenge? Well... that's a let down.

My group, and I've read a number of accounts from other groups, was having all sorts of problems getting the left rooms to trigger with the SIVA bomb on the second cycle. Everything worked great on the first cycle then on the second the right side triggered fine, the left didn't. It also wasn't a timing issue because on more than one occasion the left side was complaining that it didn't trigger before/just as I threw on the right. It seems to be an issue only with the challenge (though admittedly we didn't try without challenge mode) because we have cleared Vosiks HM numerous times by shooting the door triggers and the only time it's failed to trigger is when we are too slow getting to the room and don't get it activated quickly enough. We have considered the possibility that there was more lag than normal because more people were running the challenge. We did certainly run into more issues than normal that could have been related to lag (Captains and monitors not taking damage, couldn't pick up charges). Just laying this out there in case maybe there is a glitch, we'll find out in the next little while if it's simply volume causing lag.

Was the challenge activated with the weekly reset or later? We did WotM HM 3x after reset, but I don't think the info in orbit was there when we started.

9 RepliesAnybody else having the problem where you're in the safe room, you shut the door with the bomb, it shuts, and EVERYBODY STILL DIES!!!! Spent hours on this and every damn time we get close we were wiped by another frigging glitch!!! Also, before someone mentions it, I know you have to stay away from the walls that's not it.
