So, on the subject of Hunter Speed...
Hunters, are described as the fastest class in game, but we don't have anything that can compare with titan skating and dune marchers. I'm not saying titan skating and dune marchers need to be REMOVED, but I think hunters could use a speed boost.
So people are arguing there's a difference between agility and speed. Well, that doesn't make much of a difference in terms of titans being able to speed through everything while a hunter lags behind, titans shouldn't be this much faster than hunters.

3 RepliesTitans and 'locks are put to shame with the hunters vertical movement. I main a Titan, but feel like the hunters jump and overall evasiveness is far superior in almost any situation.

Point of fact if you look up "Fast" in a thesaurus, Agile is usually it's first and most direct synonym in application of it's use in speech. It is not a valid counter argument. It is a self destroying counter argument. What ever argument you choose to use. Please find one that isn't centered around an incorrect understanding of the English language. If you don't want arc bladers to be able to chase down titan skaters and hove a blade up their butt, FINE! Say that! But stop saying that Agile doesn't mean Fast because it literally is not true.

Titan skating is only fast when moving in an almost straight line. Hunters are the fastest to run jump and cut corners. I mained a hunter for all year 1 now maining a titan, I feel like I've been trading a Camaro for a Minivan....

Titans can outrun a hunter is a straight line. Any corners or sharp turns and we are way behind. We may be faster but only in some circumstances.

Hunters can jump in better ways and get around easier. I'm not disagreeing with I'm just saying why it is the way it is.

As a hunter main myself, I certainly see the point trying to be made here. I sometimes feel as though I'm slower than I should be in comparison to the Titans skating around left and right. But then I remember how much easier it is for me to out maneuver them simply based on the fact that I can make turns and change direction way easier. Especially with the Frost-EE5. It's all a matter of give and take. I'd prefer to be able to duck and weave rapidly than be able to go in a straight line super fast. It's different abilities for different situations.

I don't know about you, but personally, I feel that there shouldn't be any class that can literally travel around an entire PvP map in less than 5 seconds. I don't care if you're a Hunter, Titan or Warlock.

Titans are only fast in a straight line, they cant change their mid-air direction like Hunters. They may be fast but they arent agile.
