5 RepliesIt's pathetic. The lighthouse should be for people who put in the work to get there but it's the world we live in. I've beaten teams that were carrying and I've gotten my ass kicked by them. After a fee rounds you know who to go after so teamshot the main guy and the team just falls apart after that

3 Repliesit's a scumbag thing to do but from a business perspective it's actually quite intelligent. Profiting off of stupid gamers has been around for a long time (I.E Gold buying, lvling, etc...), they are just finding new ways to do it. Until people stop being stupid enough to pay extra money on stuff so they can be very lazy, it's going to stay for a long time.

And those things I can't even actually play with lol At least if I wanted to spend 20-40$ dollars to go to the lighthouse the chances of getting a good gun, even though digital, I would use all the time in game are high. If I needed to pay to go I'm an adult and and I make plenty of money so what's so disgusting about spending my hard earned money on things I desire? Maybe it's note what you would drop money on but I'm sure you've made a purchase plenty of people here would see as stupid. It's no different than paying extra to have someone get your groceries or going to a full service gas station and tipping the guy that pumps your fuel. Maybe I didn't have time for groceries or maybe I was dressed nice and didn't wanna smell like gas other dirty. Either way you see my point right?

2 RepliesI agree I have 4 kids to take care of and I can't afford that for just a trials carry, I'm pretty good at any crucible but when it comes to trials I've never been flawless can't ever find a team to get that 9th win and the community doesn't really help anyone out unless you pay, I've always helped people out in raids and everything but when trials comes up nobody wants to help someone get to the lighthouse unless you pay them ita just ridiculous on how the community is and don't want to just enjoy the game and help one a other out

I have seen upwards of $500 to go from level 1 to max level in 3 hours. Also, look at CoD... People have spent thousands of dollars on a chance of getting 1 gun, or 1 piece of gear.

Match making is that dumb that paying a streamer or account recovery team while you go take a bath and eat some food is a sensible option. If people have the money then happy days let them do what they please. Who cares if it's right or wrong. It doesn't impact on anybody else's experience one bit so can't see what is wrong with pay to win.

Damn it man! I read the title and expected to see something like $250 for a carry! $40? Personally, I would rather stay my scrubby self and not pay for somebody to carry me. I have nothing against people getting a carry and I've carried plenty of low light people through missions, strikes and such (primarily PvE'er here) that would absolutely destroy them without help. But $40? That really isn't much money at all. If I were to REALLY desire a trip to the lighthouse... It wouldn't bother me to drop less than half the cost of a halfway decent evening meal out for the wife and I.
