It's disgusting to see people post carries for $40. Insane people would pay that lol
-
this are the ones who are normally causing the lag switching or impossible to kill, the trials is a platform for these people to abuse people's weakness, what they should do is put the flawless people all together in a match play arena, and match a match play for the other people, therefore leaving a better chance for the others to go flawless and get rid of this pay to go flawless... but fair play if the idiots want to pay them so be it..
It's disgusting to see people post carries for $40. Insane people would pay that lol
Welcome to a market There is a need and those willing to pay to have that need fulfilled I love capitalism and if I was that good at this game I would offer carries for 35.00 and undercut my competition. As a dad having an extra few hundred bucks in the bank helps pay for a lot of after school activities... Just saying

$250 for 3 flawless run smh....

It's been a virus in trials for a long time now, pay per carry, if you consider a twitch streamer selling his services to get you to the lighthouse at $60 a run, and running maybe 8 cards a day, that's $480 a day, for the 4 days that trials is available $1,920, so who could blame them? The problem is when there are so many players willing to provide this service the more casual players will inevitably come up against a carry and suffer a loss, the frustration is then posted here and the argument begins in a thread again. I do believe, once achieved, bracketing the flawless in their own tier is a way to combat the frustration felt by so many. Some players will argue that you've got to beat the best players to earn your lighthouse visit, I would argue that for a casual to beat players on a similar skill level to achieve flawless does not make their achievement any less deserved than a high skilled player beating teams on their own skill level, yes the skill maybe vastly different but would players facing players of similar skill whether they be sweaty or casual not be challenge enough to each respectively to warrant a lighthouse trip? Bungie have known about this concern for many players for a long time, asking for a way to combat the pay per carry, one run per character per weekend, seperating the flawless into a higher tier, yet even when trials was down in preparation for RoI the only action they took was to make linking your bungie account to your twitch channel, perhaps feeding the problem, but hey it's free advertising for them.

I agree. Now I'm off to buy some silver for next week so my ghost will be dressed like a ghost.

I ain't payin for jack no I can't get to the light house. But idc me and my clanmates have fun anyways. If your better, then it is what it is... while some players are all business, we are having fun Joking and laughing.

1 ReplyLooking for someone to carry me to the lighthouse. Plz.

I watched a video last night on 5 tips to go flawless. The ad for that video was an ebay link to buy flawless carry

Not a fan of these people...
-QA Test Engineer (a.k.a. AR IS4 NUBS)
Dunno man, people pay for what they want. If it was 4c a carry we'd nearly all take a turn lol. The amount is relative. Still, getting there with your friends the old fashioned way is worth way more than money even if it takes years. But not everyone has that option.

Agreed

1 ReplyI figure ive got roughly 12 months or a bit less to get to the lighthouse before Destiny 2 drops. Ill keep trying to get there with my team, but i want to put this game away COMPLETED. So if by mid summer next year ive still not got there, i will almost definately be looking for someone to carry me, and id be happy to pay up to 40 bucks. Just started getting to 8 and 0 recently so hopefully ill get there the old fashioned way in the next week or two. man those last 2 matches tho... lol. But then it wasn't that long ago i was saying ... man, that 6th match tho... lol.

bungie should ban them...
-
3 Replies40$ dollars, not that much actually, I could easily carry for that amount anyday, having over 3kd in trials make it easy to get flawless for anyone, anytime.

Woah! Hold the presses! You mean to tell me that people are dumb enough to spend actual feasible, tangible worldy assets on a piece of digital code they never actually end up owning, has no real life impact and cost the equivalent of being able to feed yourself for the best part of a week? People do realise thet dont have to go lighthouse for those goodies? I mean they dont want to put the effort of earning them fairly into the game, so why not just get it unlocked through mods? I mean bungie cant have a problem with that. It would stop people from profiting from their ip, which is illegal (you all read the terms and conditions) Anyway. Best no game developers find out there are stupud people who will hand over cash for effectively nothing.in return

Ye, dats pretty lame. Then again, I paid $40 for the original LoB Exodia the Forbidden One set so I can't really blame them.
-
I originally thought about doing it then i thought. It's stupid. After that I've only gone flawless once for free and my teammates were extremely nice and helped me get better :)

That's cheap. I've seen a lot of website $100+ smfh. Bye D2

I've seen as low as $20 on eBay (play on your profile).

What has this world come too? I mean I understand paying for DLC's. Actually, no. DLC'S don't even cost that much. Disgusting. The people asking for that money make me sick. I wish I could go up to their face and say "Get a job you lazy -blam!-!!"
-
Dude theres so many more honorable people who will do it for free who have like 10 or less viewers on twitch so it's easy to jump in
-
Go ahead and pay, it's your money what can I do
