Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump strikes nationalistic and patriotic tone with supporters in Bangor, Maine, telling them to imagine a U.S. that came together ''as one people, under one God, saluting one American flag.''
oh boy...this will go well...

7 RepliesWell the thing is before we became a godless nation, majority of people actually had respectable morals. Maybe there is a way to extract the good morals to live by in Christianity and integrate into society. If you take away the "god" related commandments, like adultery and remember the sabbath, and no other gods before him, you have a pretty solid society. Don't kill Don't steal Don't grape (pretend the "g" isn't there) In addition to those adopting Jesus's mindset wouldn't be bad for us either and it would in theory improve our relationship with Muslims. Remember his philosophy "Love your enemy as you would your neighbors" and "whoever is free of sin can cast the first stone". These are ideals our society is in dire need of.

14 RepliesIf what we read in the bible is true, I wonder who Jesus would vote for if he were alive today. I mean, he was about as hardcore socialist as they come. And apparently his dad had a pretty big problem with things like greed, adultery, lust, pride, etc. He'd probably be a pissed off Bernie supporter.

Yeah, what's the problem? He didn't specify anything and, as far as you know, he could be reiterating the Preamble's usage of the word

Edited by Døøb: 10/17/2016 10:03:02 PMBy "God", he meant himself, librul. All Hail God Emperor Trump!
In all seriousness, he was reiterating "One nation, under God" in the preamble.
Yeah. I'm good.

He does have a bit of a messiah complex so I'm sure when he said under god he meant under Trump.

God emperor trump.

Sometimes I wish posts like this weren't made. I just don't enjoy posts that purposefully try to agitate certain people.

Ironic how the people most afraid of Sharia law would be perfectly fine being ruled under Christian law.
