Anybody else have their K/D plummet from this IB?

At a 1.15 after I remembered to log into Clan Wars. Luckily, I was able to get a match where I was close to getting a Sum of all Tears.

I suffered a 0.04 drop K/D wise. It'd hurt if I didn't know the only reason people are so easy to kill me and hard for me to kill them is because A. They are using god rolls from Trials B. My light level is about 19 light below the current max light level C. Iron Banner is a dick and wont let me close that gap as it continues to only give me below my light level gear whenever I finally GET a iron banner armor or weapon. D. Shotguns, shotgun dicks everywhere.

My Hunter went up from 1.10 to 1.13 my Warlock is still at a .98 and my Titan went from 1.07 to 1.08. I don't know, I'll have games where i get 2.0 or higher and games where I get below 1.0. It's all over the place. There is so much lag in supremacy. I wonder if the added mechanics of the crests contribute to the latency.

Mine went from 1.04 to... 1.03 but no need to fret it's back up again.

It happens every IB, especially if you run solo...like I do most days.

played cfest runner so I dare say it did although probably only by .02 due to the amount of kills and deaths I had prior to this IB.

Gone positive almost every match of supremacy. Doesn't help my aged kd though.

Overall kd went up from 1.24 to 1.26. That's pretty much for a few days playtime considering my combined kills in pvp. IB supremacy is a blast, at least for me. On a side note, i don't think SBMM is "working" in IB supremacy. If it was, i wouldn't be able to perform like this. I'm decent in regular crucible. I'm beast mode in IB supremacy. On Xbox I had around 1.5 Was so enraged at matching full squads of really good players decided to deliberately lower my kd Now down to 1.39 Target is 0.5 Then maybe matador grind will be fun

I used to be that guy that worried about my kd. But that was 8 months ago right before I quit playing. Now I give a rats ass and I find I'm having a much better time in the Crucible.

3 RepliesKD doesn't mean jack in Supremacy. Worst possible measure of success in this game mode. You could be last on team in KD and kills and have best score. All about team shot.

Actually the opposite. Kill confirmed is a good place to farm kd (if you don't care about winning). You can take up overwatch on downed crests from a distance and get a lot of advantageous gunfights and kills. Since alot of players are using cqc heavy loadouts. For me the mode itself isn't bad but the lag is horrendous. If you kill someone with a red bar their crest also lags out sometimes. You have to stand on it for several (nerve wracking) seconds. That's suicide in kill confirmed modes.

Fml. I worked hard to get mine to 1. Funny thing is my warlock (who I play the worse with) actually went up. Need another couple hundred + kills and he'll be at 1 too.

If I drop to 0.8 K/D that would be fine with me because I should get paired against people of similar skill as me. Most people complain that Crucible is a sweat-fest, well if you worry about keeping your K/D so high it will. I stopped playing Destiny for about 6 months and just came back recently, but since my original K/D was like 1.51 I'm getting absolutely destroyed because I'm getting matched against people who are way above my skill range. So yeah, my K/D will plummet but that's fine by me, I want a chance to have fun, not a chance to be a try-hard.

Yep, love being matched against 5 blade dancer hunters with matador 64 or party crasher, especially when you die to arcblade 4 lives in a row, then get killed by skip grenades twice, then some matador, then the arcblades are charged again (before you go "omg soooo bad, just yooz a shootgun" I use plan c because it's fun and high impact shotguns are for scrubs)

18 RepliesLoot system update = perfect Ranking update = brilliant Supremacy for Iron banner = Ruined!!! Shotguns galore and totally broke as far as im concerned. If your anyway decent with a shotty then this is for you. Getting taken out with a shotgun from handcannon range is not my idea of fun!! Shotty epidemic is also spilling into regular crucible so a game that i once absolutely adored, is getting to become too much of a pain in the ass. Congrats Bungie, another game destroyed!!!
