Crucible is shotgun hell!!!!!
Ok, primary weapons have become pretty much useless. All people do now is stay in the air near Dorr ways and corners and wait to shotgun, or you get titans with juggernaut just pissing people off with the shield and shotgun combo. You can't counter shotguns reliably if ever in this game now. They have nerfed everything to the point where you are forced to run a shotgun just to stay alive. And supremely has pretty much been infested with shotguns since it released. Comon bungie. Give my primary some nuts!

Supremacy is a close quarters game mode so of course there are shotguns everywhere! Crucible has [i]always[/i] been about using what does the job the best and most efficiently for the team.

8 RepliesAlmost unbearable playing 6v6 for me. It's full of shotgun users who can't use a primary and it is just super laggy since rise of iron.

My anti-shotgun build is a Hawksaw-archetype pulse rifle and a fast-charging fusion. I don't have it equipped now, but it helps when dealing with shotgunners.

8 RepliesYep, just ridiculous. So many shotguns scrubs just camping and hiding. Relatively useless to their team as well. Was in control, shotgun camper on the other team pissed me off. A few matches later he's on my team. 0 captures for three games in a row, just camping and shotgunning.

First of all, supremecy is naturally a shotgun mode. You aren't going to get those crests by sniping somebody across the map. Second, TLW is very useful to defeat Shotgunners. Even stickies work well. All you have to do to beat a shotgun is challenge open space and have them rush straight at you. It's easy to shoot them down with a pulse, such as a hacksaw or pdx. I would recommend sticking to 3v3's like I do if you don't like the chaos of sixes.

I despise shotguns as they take 0 skill to use. For 2 years i did not use them. But now - why not? Someone has to put these idiots at their place. What i learned these days: 1) Just shott your malok at a corridor when your radar shows red and get free kills. 2) just play some tcg while you PvP and people will come and feed you kills 3) push your k/d - you are now soooooooooooo skilled. At the tcg that is. Until they return pvp to the y1 no-lag-state i will just farm kills like all the no skill idiots

I like shotguns but I think that there should be counters to it like planC or you know the trespasser maybe a good sidearm, a quick fusion. Wait a second, that's it there ARE!

I use primaries almost the entirity of the match only pull out shotty when someone rushes me.

2 RepliesI just joined the shotgun hell yesterday (I mostly play with a pistol or fusion) and my KD went to the sky! It's just too easy to get kills with shotguns, way too easy!

Shotguns are second to nerfs, only to fusion rifles. Shotguns are balanced, certain close range weapons just need some love. Sincerely, a guy who does not want his fusion rifles nerfed again.

I love the face paced gameplay of everyone using shotguns!! I don't care about my kd so I don't mind rushing into a whole team or getting pushed by a juggernaut shotgunning titan. The sniper meta was getting way too boring and campy.

Slurp slurp! Ah, the delicious tears of the sniper! I like how crucible forces you to master a number of different skills. Sitting in a corner sniping is just one skill so not really consistent with the true meaning of xmas. So it's good they've engineered a way to flush snipers out.
