Crucible is shotgun hell!!!!!
Ok, primary weapons have become pretty much useless. All people do now is stay in the air near Dorr ways and corners and wait to shotgun, or you get titans with juggernaut just pissing people off with the shield and shotgun combo. You can't counter shotguns reliably if ever in this game now. They have nerfed everything to the point where you are forced to run a shotgun just to stay alive. And supremely has pretty much been infested with shotguns since it released. Comon bungie. Give my primary some nuts!

Agree completely. The simple solution from day one on snipers and shotguns is to make a primary only mode. 90% of the players complain about one or the other or even both, so just make a mode without them.

Its this whole jumping shotgun. Extremely effective.. but everyone looks like prancing ponies.

It's only bad in 6v6, and maybe rumble to a small degree. In 3s the map is less cramped, which leads to more primary and sniper usage.

1 ReplyThey should buff primaries so all primaries have the same ttk of .9 sec all primaries should kill in the same amount of time this would bring a lot more weapon diversity. I doubt they will or can do it though.

I prefer this over the Sniper Meta. Turn the corner and you'll get sniped by the high aim-assist snipers.

Guys getting a headshot with a sniper and killing me after taking 3 crits from Mida was more annoying than this. You can back up and kill a shotgunner most of the time. Be honest everyone did you like matches of control going to time because everyone stayed back and passively played with snipers I'll take my primary versus shotgun rushers any day over guns pulling off the head shot when they are 1 shot or just 1 aggressive gust of wind from death

Yeah I am seeing this so much, I decided to test with a defender shot gun mix and you top the leader board everytime it's ridiculous I feel like such a jammy git for doing it but it's the only way to get kills there, it's sad really

I took a little break from destiny during the dark ages of sniper (more specifically 1KYS) hell. Came back and shotguns reign supreme again. However, I've still been doing fairly decent with a hand cannon or fusion rifle and I've got a friend who pretty much destroys people with a side arm. Just try to keep your distance. It's unfortunate but I don't think bungie will every be able to "balance" crucible the way everyone would like without severely limiting the amount of special ammo during each match. But I'm still having fun with it! Good luck!

6 RepliesOr Bungie could make maps where shotguns would need to be used more strategically instead of CQ maps 24/7, but we all know that's never going to happen. Same reason why I never play PvP in CoD, the maps are so suffocatingly small.
