Why Do Fusion Rifles Piss People Off?
I have been changing up builds and trying new weapons out lately. I have never once gotten hate mail in the Crucible until this last week when I was trying out my Hitchhiker FR4. I have had probably 5 or 6 messages over about 5 days along the lines of "gratz on being able to use a fusion scrub" lol it's pretty funny really. Do you pro fusioners endure this too? haha :'D

They sometimes piss me off cause they remind me of those days before The Dark Below...... Even though I used them back then, it was some scary times man.

I have been lately using more of my primary and fusion rifle, fusionnarr the most annoying weapon to go up against because 1. You can troll/bait with them 2. Can kill you easily from medium range, especially if you are injured 3. Can kill you at close or mid range Honestly, this fusion takes more skill than shotgun isn't really true. Sometimes they do take some serious skill, just like shotguns with movement

3 RepliesThere is small percentage of the pvp community that is just AIDS. They can't fathom how they ever get killed and believe any gun that killed them is op or the user is a scrub for using it. Those small percentage of people are really the only thing I don't like about this game.

Try having your Telesto shoot right through players like he was FXCKING Obito. #MindBlown

People getting frustrated and sending hatemail is no worse than people taking plaeasure from it. I get frustrated at times myself. But for the most part I like to think I'm having fun with and against others who are having fun because it's a really cool video game and not a big damn pissing contest... Then I come to the forums. I'm competively natured too and I get that. But I don't actually hate people I've never even met. Nor would I ever take plaeasure in the ill feelings of others. Fusions can be pretty frustrating to deal with in 6v6 (at lleast in Control) when there is a lot happening at once and so much to think about while making split-second decisions. In many cases you get the jump on someone with a fusion from over 30 ft away and still lose even if you strafe and timely land every shot with your primary. That's a little ridiculous imo. In some cases there are supers activating, grenades going off and other sounds that can drown out the sound of a FR charge. They do take skill to be consistently good with but there is just a lack of overall weapon balance in Destiny and I think that's what causes most of the frustration.

3 RepliesNo sorry. Using a fusion rifle takes patience, planning and skill. If your running one and can do well against snipers sitting back on their butt and shot gunners getting in your face. Then you got my respect. Fusions are the ultimate mid range. And most players can't understand that.

8 RepliesPeople running fusions are about the only people I respect in PvP anymore. Haha. I think I'm one of the few snipers left after the patch. I'm having flashbacks of year one with all the shotguns out there so I don't even get mad when I get killed by a fusion. I just say, good for you.... hit the re spawn button and go on about my business. Plus I wouldn't want to be a hypocrite. I have a pretty nasty Thesan. Haha.
