Yep. For all the complaining the fact is that the tower and the reef and the world of Destiny feel like real places. The fact is that I have genuine affection for my favorite weapons and gear. The fact is that I think my guardian looks super cool and I bet you think yours does too. Destiny is an unbelievable success. Roll on year 3.

It is hands down the best slot machine I ever played!! Seriously though, my wife and I have had many laughs and shared many triumphs together. We actually high five when we beat that 30k high score on CoE. We hoot and holler when we get a good kill in the crucible. We have great memories just battling the strikes and stories. This game can get frustrating and repetitive but all in all it's been a great ride and look forward to more fun!

Through all the pain and agony, it has had its equally good times. Thank you.

Destiny is without question flawed and is absolutely my favorite video game ever, Adventure on Atari 2600 is right there as well and I love me some Bioshock but 3,000 hours in there's no drop off for me at all. I met the greatest group of people, still game with them daily, i even bought a PS4 so i could level 3 more characters - the community at large is just astounding, i exclude the forums from that it's a completely different animal. I'm in for the long haul, it's definitely love. Thank you Bungie.

Thanks Bungie! Here's to a bright future and a legendary past!

This game has been my go to game for the past 3 years. While I have played a lot of other games in that time, this game keeps me coming back for three reasons: the fact that the raids are unlike any other Co op experience in any game in my opinion, the grind for max light, and most of all the gameplay. The gameplay is the tightest, most responsive, and fun I have played in a first person shooter to date. Bungie, I feel, has perfected their first person shooter formula with destiny. It is a head above all the other shooters, and it is what always keeps my coming back no matter what.

Bungie, you rule. Started with halo 2 when I was 14. Been in love ever since. Thank you.

12 RepliesEdited by K1dP5ycho: 9/13/2016 6:36:07 PMTo think I would keep coming back to this game after three years. It's not because of any addiction to the RNG. Not because I have nothing else to play. Not because of the PVP, definitely not that. What keeps bringing me back is the world. Being a Titan, a defender of humanity and a sword of The Light. Going to the different planets, fighting the Darkness, wielding a vast array of weaponry and powers... I love just being able to load up the game, picking a mission and just chilling out as I blast through everything in my way. I love being at The Tower and The Reef. Just the idea of these places where Guardians gather, to socialise and train, to arm up and to rest. It gives me hope for this third year and the sequel, where Guardians can more or less live in the world outside of combat just as much as they do while bathing in Fallen ether and Taken shadow. Thank you, Bungie. You deal with so much nonsense, yet you still come through with a wonderful game that I will continue to play until it ceases to be. Bring on the Rise of Iron. Summon Siva's hordes. I will be ready to smash them into oblivion.
