Was digging through my collection of games and found Dark Souls. I've heard some pretty good things about it so I decided to try it out and... well... it's... pretty much everything I though it would be so... yeah.

Edit: Didn't have much time to play, but I did get out of the Undead Asylum.

4 RepliesIs the only reason people like this game for the sense of accomplishment? I didn't play it all that much, but I felt like i was made of molasses and it just wasn't any fun for me. It's weird because i absolutely love RPGs, I quit even before I died that much...

4 RepliesHey what system? I can make another character and help you out.

Put your faith in our wonderous Sun and you will succeed. \[T]/

Thought the same thing the first time i played it. And then i got bloodborne and fell in love. Ds3 is amazing. 1 and 2 are clunky as hell, but still fun once you get a decent weapon. Go for the drake sword by shooting off the dragons tail. Then run down and get the gravelord sword. Makes it much easier from the start

1 Reply;-; May god have mercy on your soul. Also, could you tell me if you get past the bell Gargoyles? Those bosses are muther-blam!-ers and currently why Ive quit playing it.

Don't level Dex. What rings you got bithc!?

2 RepliesShoot the red wyvern's tail off with a bow from the second level of the bridge for a sword that -blam!-s everything.

1 ReplyIf you can dodge a sword, you can dodge a ball.

It's a bit like beating your head against a wall. At least Dark Souls (1) is nice about it and doesn't make you weaker each time you die or make you farm for healing items. Once that wall breaks, it's a great feeling. There are pretty solid strategies for each boss, the execution is up to you though. If all else fails, grind a butt load of souls and level up a bit. You can also try magic. Magic is pretty OP in the first game.
