I'm 99% sure our Characters haven't said a word since vanilla Destiny. Will they be speaking in the new expansion or nah?

I hope so. Even if they have to change voice actors for a few of them.

3 RepliesRemember the trip to the dreadnaught?? Yeah you spoke in that lol.
-
5 RepliesYou can only speak in the new "Dab" emote Bungie is adding during cutscenes
I -blam!-ing hate the person who invented the "Dab"
-
I remember when ghost went mute for 2 whole expansions...way back in those days of fun gameplay...
-
2 RepliesWas disappointed our Characters didn't speak in TTK cut scenes. Now for RoI, wouldn't be surprised if the continue to remain speechless, however it will be a nice option to let us choose what voice we wanted for our Guardians.

1 ReplyWhy speak when you can use body language to portray emotions ? For money
-
2 RepliesThey actually have spoken since vanilla destiny. I believe they said, "GAAAA" and "WUUUUUAAAAA"
-
1 ReplyI liked to hear them talk, I hope my character won't stay mute like in Taken king lol
-
I hope. Notice this, Deej!
-
Like other replies, Tess will sell one liners lol.
-
Maybe Tess can start selling one liners from movies and such...
-
Probably not, but time will tell.
-
Doubt it, but it would be cool though

1 Replylol at the people who cant even read the first sentence... i kind of want my character to speak but when i think of the destiny dialogue... its just a bunch of crap. "there are enemies out there you couldnt even imagine" "out where?" i mean... wtf out where do you think? absolutly everywhere. not to mention the speakers or the strangers dialogue. the worst so far are the ghost dialogues. not sure how its in the english version but in the german version the ghost literally says "hello, someone home?" when you walk to the door in the malok strike... lets hope our characters act a bit smarter this time, if they talk at all. at least bungie put in more efforts with new gun and armor models and artifacts.
-
I forgot that they spoke?
-
7 RepliesAnd then Tess Everis will sell one-liners or something borrowed from Hollywood: "Hasta la vista Guardian!" :-)
-
1 ReplyBungie is saying that this story is first and foremost about the player character so i would expect some dialogue
-
2 RepliesDoes it matter? I guess you don't like games like Zelda and Half-Life if you think the main character has to talk for it to be a good game.
-
3 RepliesThere's dialogue by the character in the cutscenes...
-
1 ReplyI'm pretty sure you're skipping all cut scenes if you haven't heard our characters talk at all.
-
Doubt it.
