Show them the power of the Voidlock, as they beg for mercy when they are on the receiving end of your shatter! Show them your sunlight, burning them with your melees! Shock them with your Palpatine hands of lightning! Rise up, against the huntards and titanerfs! FOR THE MIGHTY WARLOCKS, THE ONLY CLASS THAT CANNOT DIE! (because we can self-res)

1 ReplyIt's ok. You can yell and scream all you want. You are a wizard Harry! Here's the deal. When you need to get into the thick of the fight, I will jump in and pop my bubble. Come and hang out there, stick your hands out and warlock melee snipe a few opponents. And when they all charge us mad as hell, blasting my bubble it will make orbs. You jump up and nova bomb the crap out of them. Then come on back in. I will scoop up your orbs and drop another bubble. You scoop up mine. Rinse and repeat. Teamwork. It's what makes warlocks the best.

6 RepliesHahaha ya BS. Titans ruled y2 for an instant before Bungie destroyed them. Yes hunters ran the show in year 1. Storm callers destroy in y2, and night stalkers/ sunsingers used to be the top classes used by streamer, until they were wrecked. This is the single most regarded post I've ever seen

Warlocks had year 1 and year 2 lol. Sunsinger was amazing in year 1 and most of year 2 and its still viable now (despite the crybabies). Stormcaller has always been top tier and Voidwalker was great in year 1 and is amazing right now. The only thing that needs changing with warlocks is for VF to get a buff to 10-15% per stack and Thunderstrike with Amplitude having damage falloff and but getting a damage buff to compensate.

If you are referring to pvp Hunters have always had it. Titans briefly saw a resurgence when hammer of sol was dropped. But they really haven't changed much overall. The buffs they got while nice don't drastically change their place. If you are referring to pve Warlocks and titan's shared year 1 with hunters getting a brief spotlight for running the sword on crota till other classes figured out how. And prison of elders for being a resbot. Year 2 pve warlocks fell out of the light since self res just isn't needed these days. Hunters finally stepped up in their place since they debuff and create more orbs with night stalker. it's debatable if they share this with titans or have surpassed them in pve. Though I personally believe they share the spot. Since a good defender is always welcome. I don't see warlocks becoming important in rise of iron. The new raid is about collision supposedly. Which means one of 2 things. Either we will need mobility which hunters and titans are better at. Or we will need people who can take a hit. Which is titans. I don't think this is a bad thing though. Because warlocks at least from my perspective got plenty of attention through year 1. And even though they are not in the lime light anymore they are not forgotten about like titans were. Or thought to be just awful like hunters were outside of pvp. I DO hope they buff the sunsinger class though. It's the only subclass in the game right now in my opinion that is actually bad.
