I think now the dust has settled and the haters have all left to go hate on other stuff. I've Fallen in and out of love with destiny. But after a nice 3 months off and coming back to complete my moments of triumph. I have to say Destiny is my favorite single player game of all time. Nothing else really comes close. Doing the raid is like playing classic doom 2 with friends. It's an incredible achievement with obvious flaws. But it's the best goddam 72 meta critic game ever made. From my perspective there in absolutely nothing that comes close. Starcraft 2 Doom 2 Quake 3 Snes Mario kart Street fighter 2 Are the best multiplayer games of all time. But destiny sits alongside jet set willy as my favorite single player games.

Got to go with: DCUO- put 5 years into that game. Huge comic fan and MMO fan. Destiny- love playing it with my brother and love that feeling of finally getting that weapon you've been grinding for. 3 Replies1. FF VI (all time favorite game, period) 2. Chrono Trigger 3. Earthbound (snes remake) 4. Zelda OoT 5. Destiny (mainly due to how much time I've invested) 6. Mega Man 2 7. Mike Tysons Punch Out 8. 007 Golden Eye 9. Super Street Fighter 2 10. FF IX I realize there isn't much newer stuff on here. I never had an Xbox (so no halo) and I've never been fond of games with lots of blood. There isn't really anything new (ps3+) that has been amazing for me. I'm a hardcore jrpg guy, as you can put together from my list.

Honestly it had more hidden secrets than Destiny Mega Man 1, 2 or 3- just pick one. If you managed to kill Dr Wily in any of these first 3 titles you deserve a medal. Contra- introduced co-op campaign 007 Goldeneye- inarguably in this list. Your counterpoint is invalid Halo- this isn't a game I played much. I've never owned an Xbox, but I did play it at friends homes. It was a smooth shooter that had a good story and a nice mix of PvE and PvP. Also, correct me if I'm wrong but it introduced regenerating shields that was a game changer for nearly every game that cam after. Resident Evil 1- created a genre all its own. The first game that made me jump Skyrim- because dragons and shouts Zelda. Chrono Trigger- you may disagree with me here but I put almost as many hours into this one as I have Destiny. This was a big part of my gaming youth so allow me a sentimental pick here. Fallout 3/New Vegas- I'd lose sleep if the Fallout series didn't make it in here. Almost in there/honorable mentions- Destiny WoW Final Fantasy Street Fighter Sonic Doom-the old PC version God of War series Dead Space 2 Edit: added Dead Space 2 to the honorable mention list

Yes and it's probably my favorite game because I can play both pve while having fun in pvp in a fun fps. The gameplay is A-1 and much better than borderlands ( my precious favorite ).
