When you upgrade from Xbox 360 -> Xbox One, you will keep all of your characters so long as you use the same Microsoft Account and complete the Account Import ([url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Troubleshoot?oid=44808]See the Legacy Console Page for details[/url]). You will also keep The Dark Below and House of Wolves, but you will not have access to The Taken King content. The reason for this is that that expansion is not included in the [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12122]Digital Upgrade program[/url]. If you are upgrading in the future, I would also suggest checking out the purchase options for upgrading from a Legacy Console.
