SBMM is going too far. Fun factor is GONE.
SBMM is absolutely out of control lately. It's gotten to the point where I go insane. I'm muttering nonsense... I'm taking screen shots and film like I'm making a documentary... I'm currently selling my soul on Ebay for the low low price of "Just one Fking teammate". Every lobby I'm in is an Olympic one where each player represents a different nation. My favorite game lately was a 3v3. One of my teammates was using a Hakke test weapon and the other had full green and blue gear. The enemy team had 2 god roll Grasp of Maloks and a Last Word. Every game I go into is designed for me to lose. (4 out of 5 are in progress on the losing team) I swear every bullet I shoot is a limp dick tator tot. I've tried over 20 guns lately n they all have a NERF logo on the side instead of Suros or Omolon. My enemies have all been outfitted laser guided heat seeking butthole penetrating rounds. SBMM has hit a new level of BS. It's going too far. I'll just be over here in the corner crying and picking up pieces of butthole and controller.

1 ReplyHappens to me all the time. ESPECIALLY when playing solo. I destroy one game and suddenly for the next five games I get bum hole -blam!-. I don't get it.

I only ever play solo as I am a new Dad and only play in short bursts while my Son naps or goes in his jolly jumper. But this morning I got ambitious and invited an old friend to help me get my 3 crucible wins for the Lord Shaxx mountaintop quest. I won 1 round with pure pwnage and thats it, the next 4-5 rounds were pure pain. I haven't been that horribly squashed in a multiplayer game since I played COD4 with MLG. I got angry. Im a grown man with a newborn Son and a Wife who loves me, and I got angry at a videogame... It would be more tolerable if the ranking was visibly tracked like it was in Halo 3. That would at least give a user fair warning that they about to be smeared across the wall like a dirty diaper in a gas station bathroom.

A year ago I would have said stop whining and try to get better. After the night I just had in Crucible, I'm crying too. I was running Plan C/Invective and would full on headshot people point blank and they'd have a half bar of life left. One day I'd pull in upper 1s to sometimes 2 kd/r...tonight was 0.3 - 0.7 every match all night. Destiny PvP is unpredictable at best. If it is some sort of shitty diabolical plot to make everyone feel like a winner, then that is backfired because that just means they make everyone feel like a loser too. This whole hits not registering thing/feeling like the enemy is always seeing you before you see them makes me miss the days when the worst thing we had to worry about was who the red bar god was going to be.

1 ReplyThe Crucible is broken. Been broken for the better part of a year. It's one thing to get outplayed and lose its another to have multiple issues constantly affecting the outcome of the game. Developer can't fix it. If they could don't you think they'd of done something by now? I play to get the Shax bounties down from time to time and do Iron Banner. There's way too many "what the F" moments for me to consider the PVP in Destiny worth my time.

They must have ramped up the SBMM again because I feel your pain. At present, playing crucible solo is a huge chore. Winning a 6v6 clash match has been more difficult in the past week than going flawless in Trials of Osiris. It's really making me not want to touch the game until Rise of Iron. [spoiler]BTW that ebay comment...lmaoooooo...I feels the pain. [/spoiler]

1 ReplyIt doesn't help that the only people still playing this game regularly are crazy destiny try hards in clans and queueing up on fireteams. The casual skilled and unskilled players have moved on. Im a pretty solid pvp player, but I usually only play solo, and there's absolutely no incentive to even try to play. I'm always put into really sweaty games vs fireteams. It's a joke.

Many a time I would wreck, get a K/D of like 2.88 or something like that, then SBMM kicks in after a couple of matches and I get absolutely trashed. I'm talking a kd of like .50, so crazy how it works
