It isn't too bad, but it isn't great either. Too many one hit kills for me. Even bosses have them. The only way to heal is by filling up a meter by absorbing a certain color. I did think it was pretty cool how bosses that you defeated would help you when you went through the boss's stage that their weapon was strong against. For example, Brandish, the sword guy, would just kill a bunch of enemies to make a part just a walk through a hall. Dyna would also drain the electricity from some wires so that they don't instantly kill you.

Aye it does seem like they purposely made it ridiculous hard, Dyna is the only one I've beaten so far haha
