Throwing knives should be a one shot head shot like seriously there have countless times when I have seen a Titan shoulder charge and me throwing knife them to the head and it only taken there shields down so they can get away so I say throwing knives should be a one shot head shot in PVP
-
Lets say this then if you land a headshot with an insindinary blade the burn damage increases and that kills them

Edited by SinfulEarth1977: 8/1/2016 3:45:07 AMAs a hunter main i am split. On one hand its a knife it hits you in the face it should kill since yes a shoulder even from a full Sprint seems to kill. But then you have to factor in range. Is it fair that you could potentially throw a knife 50 ft away and take some one out? I don't think so. I mean sure if you can nail that should be rewarded. But I can see that becoming the new "OP" . maybe have a range damage fall off. If close its a kill further away heavy damage. Or maybe not even a kill But stops a guardian from running towards you. I mean if a knife didn't kill me it sure as heck would make me stop running.

1 ReplyNo Too much tracking and the longest range melee in the game.
-
3 RepliesNo, they would be very overpowered, this is coming from a hunter main, even if aim assist was removed from them they would be too strong
-
I've always thought they should have 95 percent of their aim assist removed but one shot to the face
-
Yes or maybe rework the perks Incendiary blade never activates (extremely rare) so making it actually do what it's supposed to would be nice And the knife juggler should activate if it lands headshot kill or no kill (idk would that be op? You have two knives anyways)
-
5 RepliesThe furthest ranged melee, able to one one shot. What drugs are you taking and where can I get some?
-
I completely agree now a throwing knife headshot does only 142 damage which is 22 more than a normal melee and a throwing knife bodyshot is only 110 damage which is outrageous seeing as a normal melee does 120 damage.

Edited by Stuka Ju87D: 7/31/2016 4:16:48 PMStriker agrees. It's a classy skill and should be rewarded with a ohk. Needs to be dead on though.

3 RepliesLet's put logic into this... how does a shoulder charge kill you but a knife to the head doesn't?🤔 how come when a football player gets hit or trucked by another FB player he doesn't die🤔 ? How come if I were to throw a knife at someone's head and land a perfect hit he'd die?🤔
bungie😒😧
-
No they shouldn't. They have too much tracking for that
-
Lol no way
-
I main a titan not with shoulder charge but I still main it. I can agree to that. But you would have to make the hit box pretty small and remove almost all aim assist to keep this from ruining crucible
-
I agree
-
They did before the last major update. I used to laugh in the face of shotgunners. No longer.
-
10 RepliesThis is what happens when you master throwing knives. Stop complaining and practice.
-
Pvp should go away.
-
13 RepliesIt has tracking. If that one shot it would be broken.
-
2 RepliesLol. On a forum where you see tons of nerf posts about a 1 shot melee (sc), you want a 1 shot ranged melee? Good luck. Personally I think it should do about 175 dmg.
-
I think a head shot and the burn should kill. And the burn should activate every time but let's all keep in mind that the knives were just nerfed for being able to one hit kill low level enemies if you got a headshot and the burn activated, and you were using the Sting gauntlets(this is the only situation anyone has been able to cite as being able to kill someone with no other effort)
-
Agreed
-
10 RepliesI think it would be unfair a bit because no charged malee kills with one hit. But they could make it kill with incendiary with headshot so they wouldn't overuse it with perk that resets cooldown.
-
It used to one shot. Until ppl got good with them and abused the hell outta of it cus you get it back with a headshot. It was like sticky nades but the nade comes back lol
-
4 RepliesYou want a crutch so no
-
1 ReplyIt shouldn't one shot but they should just buff the damage back.
-
The perks/aim assist/hit box would need to be adjusted. Gamblers dagger and the perk (dont know the name) that resets charge on precision kills would be abused. Plus the hit box on it is much larger than it should be
