A destiny movie
so iv had this idea for quite some time and ever since watching destiny cops made by husky raid i realized how beautifully it can be done if done right. The problem is i dont have the crew to do it, i asked my friends but none seem interested. Thats were you come in, if your interested contact me and lets discuss some idea's some im highly interested to hear what your ideas are and am very open to new fresh ideas. Obviously to make this happen abit of acting skills and imagination is necessary not to mention we need a capable camera man.

Someone could make a great Destiny movie. But if Bungie made it, it would include about 10 seconds of explaining the world and plot, and 2 hours of watching the heroes do the same thing repeatedly :)

2 RepliesEdited by Devasstator: 7/24/2016 1:13:47 PMRemember that if you truly want the audience to get the same experience as the players, you only need to film about 5 scenes and just repeat them over and over for 2 hours. If you actually have 2 hours of unique story, that's more than the actual game itself has and it's not following the Destiny formula of "as little as possible for as much as possible". So 5 scenes looped and charge 70 bucks to see it. Now, you're putting everyone inside the Destiny experience.

My idea to a destiny movie would be that there are three squads. One of all Warlocks, one of all Hunters, and one of all Titans and the movie cutscenes to one of the other squads and what danger they are facing. And the movie keeps cutscening until at the end when there is a giant danger or enemy to face, the squads come together in the end to unite in bravery and justice.

I've got an idea about the police force of guardians with a dashing Hunter as the main character. Action, romance, and a huge plot twist at the end where it's revealed that the time they're in is 2 days before the Battle of Twilight Gap

1 ReplySo you're talking about a film movie, as in not one made from game captures? If you put a general location that might be helpful, it might be a stretch to find people willing to work pro bono if they have to travel far.

3 RepliesSeems like a beautiful idea! Im thinking the destiny story so far in a movie form instead, it would be beautiful. But thinking about the tools and resources required to make this happen, i dont think it can be community made. In a movie we would need the voice actors to Destiny, as well as the graphic designers and the original people who came up with the lore. Im thinking it will be great if Bungie could start this with a movie company (Legendary maybe?)
