Stop putting people into crucible matches already in progress
I will (from now on) always leave if you put me into a match already in progress. In the past I didn't [i]always[/i] leave, but I would most of the time.
What inspired me to finally communicate this with you is the match I just had, which put me into a game that was almost over (thanks for wasting my time), and my last crucible session, which CONSTANTLY put me into matches already in progress.
STOP DOING THIS
I will leave every single time you put me into a game in progress. And if you keep doing it I'll eventually just get sick of wasting my time and stop playing altogether.

yes this is getting pretty old now. i was thrown in an IB game yesterday where literally the score was 7000+ to 1500.. couldnt understand why it wasnt stopped either. I came in and led the team easily but we lost 20: to 12:

1 ReplyWhat about people like me who stick it out. We need people to hang around when they spawn in halfway through. I have no data to back it up but it seems like whenever people start leaving the game because we're getting rekt'ed its 50/50 whether we launch a come back with the replacements for the win. Those wins are always my favorites.

5 RepliesThis happens in most multiplayer games. It's there so that matches [try to] stay even. A player times out of a match, now it's 6v5. Okay, not a big deal, but then another player has to leave because his mom called him to dinner, now it's 6v4. That's a disadvantage, and you're likely to lose. Having the ability to join in progress makes it so that matches don't have disadvantages like they would above, and so that it doesn't take forever to find a match.

That's why you are being placed into a match in progress. There should a 90 second timer on all players who enter matches at any point. If you leave during that 90 seconds fine. If you leave after you get restricted from entering that mode again for 10 minutes. If this happens 3 times in one week it becomes 20 minutes. 10 times = 30 minutes. Punish the people who are responsible for this happening in the first place.

1 ReplyI agree with u if the match is more than 2 minutes old, but me and 2 others got pulled into a game yesterday after hard ammo drop and we were 2000 points behind. . I was pissed, but decided to use that anger and I played one of my best matches. We ended up WINNING in the last two minutes. I would like to think that my play along with the other 2 who joined inspired the others. I also SUCK in crucible, although I do better in IB. You sound like u only want the rewards and are not in it for the gameplay..... Just sayin

Bump I had a new one last night me and 3 friends joined a match which had already started the other team had 1000 point head start. The braking up to find new members is bugged this week. Also we need to do something about the leavers my team had one game which we could of won but the random people keep on leaving just cuase we were loseing so we had 2 points when we were the only 3 poeple on the team we only lost in the end by 3,000 points.

Its guys like you who LEAVE THE MATCH in the first place that cause this to happen lol If you and other guys like you didn't leave the match in the first place, It would NEVER happen. Suck it up princess, take the loss like a man, collect you medallion and start fresh. If your pathetic little ego cant handle a single loss in a video game I suggest you take up knitting or scrapbooking as a hobby.

Absolutely. People shouldn't be assisted in any way, shape or form if their team is shorthanded... They should just be crushed by the opposing team which outnumbers them... The most important thing is preserving YOUR win/lose ratio... [spoiler]Douche[/spoiler]

7 RepliesDon't blame bungie. Blame the little brats who leave whenever there team starts to lose. Also, if you are already in the match why don't you stay to get the rep and rewards. And if you leave, you are condeming another gaurdian somewhere to be put in a game in progress. If you leave a game you are part of the problem not the solution.

sometimes I get put into a match and i don't even get to fly in, the game will end as i am flying in. It is pretty stupid

I don't think ill do this iron banner if this keeps up. and I want the snipe for collectors sake. if im placed in a match in progress I should at least start with my super half filled.

2 RepliesWe need a checkbox to allow us to join in progress [i]if we want[/I]. Was one of my favorite options in XIV's matchmaking. If I just wanted to get the clear (like for daily bonuses and such), could opt to join in progress, but if I wanted a full run for exp. or more chances at loot and such I could clear the box. Sure it meant longer queues to get the full run...but it was a worthwhile trade-off most the time.

All you are doing then basically is just making the situation worse. By leaving someone else gets matched. Be a man and just fight it out.
