Package RNG can't be this bad
Hello destiny community, how's it going. I'm going to cut straight to the point here, I have gotten to a point at which I can no longer believe that I am just unlucky, or RNGesus is against me. I am not sure of the numbers exactly so I will give an approximation of how many packages I have opened, about 30-40 vanguard packages, and probably close to 80-90 crucible packages. I have yet to receive either a Longbow Synthesis, or an LDR 5001 from either, I have not even received a Zombie Apocalypse for that matter. There is a 1 in 22 chance in both the vanguard and crucible packages to get an LDR or Longbow. I gave up hope a long time ago but I can't believe that my RNG is that bad, curious if anyone else has this issue, or better yet if bungie can clarify if any of the guaranteed rewards have a greater drop rate because I swear It feels like I have gotten more armor pieces from packages then I have anywhere else.
Thanks for giving me your time, let me know if any of you are having this issue.
P.S. Please do not reply saying you have gotten "so many it's gotten annoying" or that "you have a bunch, but none have good rolls," that will only make people angry.

I've been trying to get the rapier or the shadow price. I keep getting helmets and class items the last 20-30 drops. I've been fortunate to get 2 ldrs and 4 long bows but can't get a weapon since

1 ReplyTo be fair 1/22 is less than a 5% chance per package, simply put you are getting rather unlucky. Ive done things on other games with better rates and gone hundreds dry then ive got things that sre supposed to be 1/2000 after about 30, its a shame the system works this way but by making things rarer it keeps people playing.

1 ReplyNo reason to go for either the longbow has crap ammo capacity and the ldr is really not as good as a 1k stare or eirene for the impact and i only use snipers and i had both in year 2

3 RepliesStart buying special weapon engrams whenever Rahool is selling them, also buy an Eirene or two instead next time the gunsmith sells them.

1 ReplyI say make crucible weapons accessible through end of match rewards in PvP games. (Like eyesaluna, party crasher, ash factory). That way we still rank up faction but have more chances

I got lucky in a 2 week period where I got all three, Zombie, Longbow, LDR from crucible packages and such. Since then, I've gotten nothing but armor or class items. RNG has long been broken so this is something that needs to be addressed ASAP.

It's bad. Just bad. I realize it goes in streaks and after opening numerous packages from various vendors with the same crap, keep at it and I'm bound to get weapons but damn. It still hurts a little bit. Don't get me started on exotics. I don't need anymore Dragons Breath rocket launchers!!

Im on my 107th crucible package since the April update and I still have yet to get a single longbow synthesis rng is cruel

i wants the longbow as well, i won't even care if it's a bad roll. i got 1 crap roll ldr now and it's in my vault and never coming out. i want the synthesis and maybe a shadow price but for some reason i'm not getting any

Thanks.[/quote] 2 months ago before I stopped playing I maybe had 20 packages and got lord high fixer grim citizen 3 two to the morgue zombie apocalypse and longbow and also got a trash ldr I dismantled. I'd start a new character my dude

That is your white whale you'll grind for hours only to be disappointed time and time again. It's like a flick to the balls the pain is sharp but it fades with time. But you'll keep on grinding.

I've been extremely lucky I guess. I've gotten one LDR and one longbow and they were both god rolls.

Something should change, last week I got warlock bonds from 4 packages IN A ROW!! I have yet to get an LDR but as the system stands right now I can see it taking at least 50+ hours of solid grinding to get one, I'm not sure I can justify it. I'm a PvP player, it sucks how the two snipers I want, either LDR or 1000 yard God roll only drop from pve. Longbow is over hyped IMO.
