Why do we put up with absolutely atrocious PvP ?
The connections are absolutely abhorrent, the balance is way off being even close, there's more issues than combating terrorism, and yet we still play.
10yr old ps3 games have better PvP running games

I don't. I almost never step into Crucible outside quests and the occasional Iron Banner, if they have something I want. PvE has almost no longevity or any real updates anymore, and Bungie's trying to emulate the success they had with Halo.

Have you tried the division pvp? Maybe that is more your speed. You can roll and run to your hearts content and not die.

Not too sure. It's nearly impossible to strike a good balance in Destiny. Nearly everything is overpowered or its get nerfed and suddenly the weapons become boring.

My answer is then go play some 10 year old ps3 game. Why do I say that because people like you are a lot of what is wrong with pvp. Constant complaints. You know why people play it? Because despite what you say it is the best pvp out there. Don't agree well please then by all means go play the hell out of those better pvp experiences and leave us here to suffer in this garbage game.

step 1. get a ethernet cable step 2. hook it up from your router to your console step 3.make sure your router isn't a potatoe. step 4. give up your 105" screen step 5. and get a 32" screen and play on that. step 6. if steps 1 through 5 dont work git gud.

4 RepliesThe load in times to get into a crucible game is ridiculous. What the hell takes so long to find 6 people? When I play 6 vs 6 modes, I swear it takes over 5 minutes +. I'll run outside for a quick smoke, refill my beverage, kick the dog, yell at the kids and push the wife down and [b][i]still[/i][/b] have a few minutes to watch my ship in orbit! [spoiler]my kids are grown, don't have a dog and wife would punch me in the face if I pushed her down...so nobody really got hurt in my scenario [/spoiler]

I recognise your name. I played you in Rumble a few days ago. I agree. I play on Xbox one and on ps4 and have noticed that the connection is far worse on ps4. I have matches where I'm shooting at people and they take zero damage. I've checked down/upload speeds and ping with my connection and all is good. Still red bar on ps4 sometimes.

The pvp is way too unbalanced to actually be competitive. There are so many things that are contradicting, such as res-sniping for example. High rpm weapons simply outclassing low rpm ones because each individual shot deals ~the same damage. Then there's supers and ohk melee attacks. Everyone takes crucible with considerable weight, like it's super serious and highly competitive but it's not. It's just a place to go blow off some steam and have fun, well for me it is anyway.

I didn't feel like spending money on another game. Especially not another AAA title, in fear it would have the same broken shit and ignorant, stubborn devs, which seems to be common these days. Destiny is the evil I know, I guess.

I've been playing games online since the late 90s and Destiny's connection issues / ridiculous encounters due to lag are some of the very worst. There's no excuse for a modern game with a huge budget to be this messed up.
