Day/Year 1 players, what do you miss most?
Time to take a smooth ride back down memory lane.
Let nostalgia sweep over you like the cool darkness of an autumn night.
I sorely miss the summoning pits. Everyone complained how it was too tedious and simply the world's greatest bullet sponge, but something about it I liked...maybe I'm just a masochist.
What do you miss?

Edited by Charmani B: 7/17/2016 9:56:11 PMHere's a long list: -Good loot from raids -Flaming head from nightfalls -Nightfalls actually being worth completing -Exotics actually meaning something (and no I don't mean in terms of power, but in terms of availability) -Xur day being exciting -Fun PVP -Being able to mess around in any game mode in PVP without having to try your balls off each game -FAR less snipers in regular PVP -Combined arms -Vanguard and Crucible not constantly giving you armor in packages -When there was two of each primary for sale at the Vangaurd and Crucible Quarter master -The concept of hidden faction weapons -The Nexus, Sepiks Prime, and Phogoth -Queen's wrath event -Elemental primaries -Class items that changed color with your shader -Nerigal Savant gear (best warlock set IMO) -No trickle modifier (I'll take lightswitch any day over frikin trickle) -The old raid gear -Having more stuff to do each week -Ship blueprints -Exciting expansion related public events -First Light and Bastion being playable maps -When a lot of my friends actually got on and played this game -The old raids

The damn community, the Grimoire used to be great to come spend time on; it's now a -blam!- fest for the CoD community at large, whining about guns, powers, losing in general, it never ends. I'd love to see the poor little bastards play some old school DK or something, introduce them to the era where all games would make Dark Souls look like Pong. Goddamned entitled brats... Ah, I feel better.

The excitement that came with playing the game. If it begins to feel like a chore, then there is a serious issue that needs to be addressed. VoG was spectacular for the first time though, the only time alot of people queued with random players, cooperated and had fun

Peter Dinklage, Can't stand my ghost sounding like an overly hyper child now. I much preferred the serious monotone of Dinklebot. It juxtaposed with my feelings as a player where I was curious and excited about seeing new things he kinda didn't care and did his job. There was something special about that to me.

I miss doing VoG. Miles better then KF. Also watching that lucky bastard Prodigy get a bunch of Gjallarhorns. Most of all, when NFs actually gave out good stuff and when Xur brought the G-Horn. Best week ever.[spoiler]can't forget the loot cave.[/spoiler]

The ost of the main menu Soloing a nightfall and after 5 times of failing finally completing it only to get strange coins or ascendant material Pvp was fun! I looked forward to xur coming because he might've had a weapon I've been grinding to get Glowing blue flame from nightfall completion Taking half an hour in gorgons labyrinth for everyone to switch their characters and take a hit at the exotic chest That 1 youtuber with +10 gallys Loot cave Farming public events for ascendant materials So so so much more

Playing with friends. Not many play anymore and I usually only do PvP.

Being excited when Xur showed up. He hasn't been relevant for me in months. That excitement on Tuesday to run the nightfall & crota with all 3 characters - usually for some decent rewards.

Loot cave, when we didn't have strange coins in substantial amounts and grinded our nuts off to get that 1 red death or suros regime from xur. og glimmer farms for when iron banner was out made all my gear feel valued. Getting my first legendary item (the Queens wrath)
